In all the years of watching Tom Brady go through one interview after another with perfect aplomb. I can honestly say that I can remember very few examples of Brady laughing at or mocking another team or player in any way.

Hopefully, people will correct me if I'm wrong, but I only remember 4 instances of Tom laughing at something or someone, and in each case it blew up in his face.

First, when Plaxico Burris stated before the SB that the Pats would be lucky to score 17 points, Brady laughed at the suggestion. That was exactly how many the Pats scored and they struggled to get those.

Second was when Tom mocked the Jets after the 45-3 drubbing in 2010 by flying like a Jet after the game was over. I honestly didn't care for that and when the Jets knocked the Pats out of the playoffs 5 weeks later I wasn't that surprised. I knew that one stung them pretty hard.

This playoff season saw two of those moments, starting with the Ravens' post-game interview when Brady laughed at the Ravens and suggested that they learn the rules after being worked over on the eligible-ineligible rules. Well, they knew enough about the rules to go through the competition committee and take that one away

Then there was the question to Brady during an interview with WEEI about deflated footballs, and he laughed like it was the most foolish thing he ever heard. Wrong again Tommy.

So, my question is this? Does Tom Brady get the last laugh because he won the SB or do his haters for possiibly staining him? As a fan I couldn't care less what some assclown from the Sour Apple or anywhere else thinks, but Brady is another story.

I think he laughed because it was the first he heard of it and it sounded so absurd.

I agree, but he did laugh and it did blow up in his face. Or did it? He has the SB ring.

So what should Brady do going forward? Not laugh publicly at ANYthing, just in case something else doesn't go his way down the line?

I wasn't criticizing him. All I was saying is that in all his years as a Patriot I don't remember many moments where he scoffed at someone or something, but in the few cases when he did it blew up in his face.

Going forward took it's first step last night at Salem State and Brady handled it perfectly, as is usually the case.

I dunno, he seems pretty mocking in this presser...

The last laugh goes to John Stewart. His stint on Tom Brady and deflated nuts featuring Gronk's vid was a scream.

1. The Pats scored 14 points in that Super Bowl.

2. Didn't know Brady flew like a Jet after 45-3. I knew I saw McCourty doing it, but never saw Brady.

3. Brady gets the last laugh, and so will we. He won the Super Bowl with properly inflated footballs and will almost assuredly take whatever punishment is handed down to court and get the Wells report tossed out in the process.

I didn't care at all for the "17 points? That's it?" snickering. I'm sure he was just caught off guard and meant no disrespect but it sure came across that way. I bet Plaxico made that "prediction" hoping Brady would react just as he did.

The Giants saw it and said it was a huge motivator. I wouldn't want to think of what the early 2000's Patriots would have done to a QB who they saw snickering at them like that.

the last laugh is going to go to brady once he pays to have someone test 11 balls in mirrored conditions, and then sues the league and ted wells for this hatchet job of a report, then wins super bowl 50, after playing the entire season using the same balls as the opposing team, and then retires giving the double bird salute to the nfl, and then on the day he gets inducted first ballot to the hall of fame He goes on a 45 minute tirade about how rodger goodell is the single biggest factor in the downfall of the now defunct NFL, which allowed soccer to become the new national past time.

Why would Brady test the balls in mirrored conditions? The Pats balls followed the Ideal Gas Law.
We know far too little about starting temp & pressure and halftime equilibrium temperature of each team's balls to be more precise. We also now know that the 2 gauges used disagreed with each other by ~ 0.4 psi.
It's the BS conclusion wording in the Wells report that's at issue.

The Giants gave the Pats a real battle in the last game of the season and probably expected a little more respect from Tom.

The only other time I cringed was when Tom came on WEEI and said that the Jets suck. Even though it's obviously true, Brady didn't have to lower himself to their level.

I remember some time ago when the question came up about who could or couldn't sue the NFL.

I don't think that Kraft can now. I'm not sure but I think between Al Davis' and Jerry Jones' lawsuits against the NFL, they might have tightened the rules up a bit for the owners.

Brady, I think, is another story. I believe that he can sue the NFL and should.

This is to all the mediots out there who want to make a big deal out of Framegate.

That really did feel good.

He did.. didn't seem obnoxious... the jets must have noticed because the whole team flew around like five year olds after their playoff upset..
