In all the years of watching Tom Brady go through one interview after another with perfect aplomb. I can honestly say that I can remember very few examples of Brady laughing at or mocking another team or player in any way.
Hopefully, people will correct me if I'm wrong, but I only remember 4 instances of Tom laughing at something or someone, and in each case it blew up in his face.
First, when Plaxico Burris stated before the SB that the Pats would be lucky to score 17 points, Brady laughed at the suggestion. That was exactly how many the Pats scored and they struggled to get those.
Second was when Tom mocked the Jets after the 45-3 drubbing in 2010 by flying like a Jet after the game was over. I honestly didn't care for that and when the Jets knocked the Pats out of the playoffs 5 weeks later I wasn't that surprised. I knew that one stung them pretty hard.
This playoff season saw two of those moments, starting with the Ravens' post-game interview when Brady laughed at the Ravens and suggested that they learn the rules after being worked over on the eligible-ineligible rules. Well, they knew enough about the rules to go through the competition committee and take that one away
Then there was the question to Brady during an interview with WEEI about deflated footballs, and he laughed like it was the most foolish thing he ever heard. Wrong again Tommy.
So, my question is this? Does Tom Brady get the last laugh because he won the SB or do his haters for possiibly staining him? As a fan I couldn't care less what some assclown from the Sour Apple or anywhere else thinks, but Brady is another story.
