The Krafts are relentless in their assault on Belichick's coaching.

21 touchdowns to 11 int even in 2008 was pedestrian numbers.

Cassel sucked.
he got 0 reps and had no clue he'd be starting and hadn't started a single game since high school. i think he did a pretty damn good job.
but let me guess... he "sucked" because of bill...

Wrong.

I am running around insisting that it was more Brady than Bill.

That's indisputable.
Where do put Bill on the list of best coaches? Because I could careless about comparing coaches to players it means nothing.

"Brady won the Superbowl with the same offensive line.
Let me reiterate that for you.
The SAME line.
So is it Bill that did that or was it Brady?"

Bill acquired and developed guys like Neal, Andruzzi, and Compton. So it was not the same line. Maybe for the first 2 games pre injury but news flash coaching and developing goes on all season.

"Pro bowl QB? How old are you? No one uses pro bowls as a barometer of success. No one."

I get that pro bowl is a poorly voted on accomplishment but it's not meaningless especially for someone who isn't super popular.

"Jimmy wasn't developed under Bill. Wtf you talking about."

He spent the first several years of his career getting coached and developed here. You're inability to accept facts is hilarious.

Ok. This perfectly sums up exactly what I'm dealing with.

Bill gets credit for Jimmy success even though in 4 years he played just under 5 quarters of meaningful football.

No wonder Bill gets all the credit for a Brady's ability. The parameters are simply that he worked for him.

Got it.

Meanwhile the other guy is arguing that Bill gets the credit for Jimmy cause he rode the bench for 4 years.

You can't make this up

At the risk of sounding like an ******* I won't ask what's wrong with you but it's clear that you have a comprehension issue.

My apologies for engaging.
at the risk of pointing out that your "gotcha" was in response to not realizing what an illogical statement you made, i'll let this masterpiece of a post of yours speak for itself...

Brady the goat. Deal with it.

holy moly...

LITERALLY NO ONE IS SAYING BILL IS GEPETTO AND BRADY IS PINOCCHIO.
You are tilting at windmills, don quixote.

I don't understand these archaic analogies.

Brady the goat.

Considering he has 12 years of being a HC without Brady, having all of 1 playoff victory is not the flex you seem to think it is.
3 of those 12 years he was either in a first year as a new coach or a lame duck on a franchise that was moving.

Of the other 9 3 were good seasons a playoff year with Vinny and Mac and an 11-5 year with Cassel.

So in 30+ years as head coach he had 6 inexcusable seasons. Big whoop when he hoisted 6 Lombardis.

Brady the goat. Deal with it.
did i ever say otherwise? stop putting words in my mouth please.
i think some people's definition of "goat"means the person sprung from the earth perfectly formed and developed. that is asinine.

I have never said Bill gets all the credit

And what a crazy idea for me to think that while Jimmy was here he learned something from his coach. How dumb of me to suggest that.

Brady is the goat. Because Brady IQ and determination and skill allowed for this anomaly.

His ability to accurately read defense on the fly and fit balls into tight accurate spots whole protecting the ball makes him world class.

I fail to see how he couldn't accomplish this without Bill who has shown over and over that he doesn't understand the offensive side of the ball.

Re the 2008 team without Brady.

11-5 sounds good but they didn't make the playoffs because they couldn't beat good teams anymore without Brady... and dropping from 16-0 to 11-5 is the exact same drop as 11-5 to 6-10 in wins... the latter makes it not sound all that impressive.

I'm not dissing on Bill. He's the best ever. He shouldn't of been fired.

I'm simply saying I don't think Bill was necessary for a Brady to reach his max potential.

It obviously did not hurt.
I'd say they were both necessary for them each to reach max potential.

I'd say the same of the BB and BP dynamic too.

What they would have done individually is certainly up for date I'm of the belief they each probably somehow pull off one and neither would have 6 or 7. In the right situation Brady probably does more than Bill but that's such an out there scenario anyway I don't really care for it that much.

There's just way too much BS being thrown around this message board to keep track of it all but I don't intend to sit by and watch it all silently.

Brady did make Bill. By Bill's own admission.

BB is not dumb. He understands he's not in the GOAT coach conversation or even in the same zip code if Brady wasn't here.
