In other news, this reporter is now pregnant with Antonio Cromartie's kid.

Hmmm, therein lies the difference between NY and Boston media. See Lisa Olsen.

immature idiots, not surprising. Acting like 12 year olds.

I cant wait for the Jest collapse.

This shows why they'll go 5-11 or so this year, they dont get it and neither do the fans, what do you expect with wrecks leading the charge.

What were they thinking?

Damn, that ho's azz is righteous.

This was almost as bad as it if not worse as the coach was intentionally inciting it.

But of course nothing will come of it. The players will receive no penalty, the coach will not be in any trouble, the media will turn a blind eye to it, and the Comish will give it a free pass despite it blatantly tarnishing the shield

Be interesting to see if the NY media run with the story, or bury it in the run up to Monday Night, et al....... If the JETS lose, they might well be seeing that story plastered all over the airwaves and print sheets, though.......

From bodacious butts to total a-holes, this from Peter King's Twitter:

Revis on idea of '12 holdout:"If I continue to play ball like I usually do, we'll probably be back at that same position we were this year."

Um, didn't he just sign a contract that's based on him playing like he's been playing?

Where are the Jets trolls now. I said right after the deal that the Jets caved and basically gave Revis a two year deal for $16 million a year and Revis would hold out again. But of course I only thought that because I am a Pats homer. Of course, so is Revis.

Maybe you are right, There is an anti hold out agreement in Revis new deal, that probably is not worth the paper it written on.
I'll worry about it in 2 years.

Wasn't refering to you Gunnails. You are one of the few rational Jets fans who comes here.

lol, that was pretty much a foregone conclusion, dunno why Jets fans can't figure it out for the most part.

What we're seeing now is the opposite of teams signing guys to backloaded contracts that they never had any intention of fully honoring. Now you have players agreeing to frontloaded contracts, with no intention of playing the back end. I don't have an inherent problem with either practice: it's each party's job to either protect itself or get the rules changed. The Jets did a crappy job of it; they were desperate, they knew they needed Revis, and they caved to his $16M per year demands while saving some face with a reasonable back end that they know Revis will never actually play out.

He threw away guarenteed money earlier in the year by missing practices so anything short of having him pay back every cent of the guarenteed money isn't worth the paper.

The Jets will loose against the Ravens tomorrow night and will set the pace for the rest of the season......SUCKING....

how do you know Revis said that?
or if its not out of context?

i just read pages and pages of pats fans who claim that the report about Mankins and Kraft is a lie and the media trying to stir something when there is none...

so the media is only right when its about the Jets? but when its a bad story about the pats it must be lies...got you

i dont know what will happen in 2 years, but to claim right now what Revis will do or not do is funny...

maybe he get injured, maybe he sucks, maybe he gets better, maye he holds out, maybe he doesnt.
anything can happen with him just like any other player in the league.

yeah but Sancheese sucks...so you got THAT going for you

cant argue with that
god forbid Sanchez play well and the Jets win tonight...
this place will be on mass suicide alert...

Leinart Jr. can't throw to his left...that is BAD FYI

good luck...I hate when giddy hopes are dashed on the rocks of reality
