In light of all of the recent threads that have been focused on so much negativity, I thought that it would be nice for Patriot Nation to come together and have a discussion or a thread devoted to not only Patriot football but memories that you have going back when you first started watching the Patriots.
For me - the mid 1970s is when I started watching the Pats at home on Sundays and as I just mentioned seeing Stanley Steamer streaking down the right side and catching a ball from Grogan in stride.
Also, I will never forget the Mosi Tatupu score that finally ended the losing streak in Miami. That game was without a doubt just great.
Finally, I will never forget the greatest field goal kick that was ever made in the NFL. The Vinatieri kick against Oakland in the Tuck Rule game for 46 yards. I had a bunch of friends over and I think that all of New England just erupted when that kick sailed through the uprights. Wind in the face, snow on the ground, if he misses the kick they lose, and it just went through.
To me - that Vinatieri kick was just unreal.
