I had it on good authority that the fix was definitely going to be in last night. But we won. How? Was the game fixed against the Rams? Or was it fixed against us and we just overcame the fix? Will the fix be in next year?

What new ref will spook the bajeezuz out of our fans next year?

I know you guys are joking and all, but I am waiting for someone on the Rams bandwagon to start running their mouth about a fix or conspiracy or something.

Well we did know their plays right Marshall?

Already before game was over at RamsOnDemand

If all refs were like the ones we had last night there wouldn’t be much to complain about. Interesting to see how they graded out.

Thought they did a good job. Let them play, the back judge did a great job on timing of the hits to qb. Thought the players did a great job of getting legitimate hits off and also of knowing when to pull away.

so if the fix was in, that must mean that payback is coming, right?

Can't get over the people complaining about the officials favoring New England. There were no roughing the passer calls for either side, no pass interference penalties, etc. There were a couple of illegal contacts and the one questionable call was a helmet-to-helmet hit where they called a personal foul for hitting a defenseless receiver (it was a helmet-to-helmet play) and sent people into a frenzy. I thought overall the officials were a non-factor last night, but that won't stop the people who dislike this team from moaning and groaning

Don't go to social media today. It's a common hawt take.

Interesting. You mean the game is decided by the overall level of play on the field and the NFL is not instructing the refs to either miss calls or call phantom penalties to screw one team over there other? That’s a bold take.

Right? Crazy!!

Only bad call on the Rams was that holding call on the Gurley run. it didn't look like holding to me but could have been from the other angle

This isn’t a joke, guys. I’ve phoned the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint about the NFL and their shady tactics on the field. Winning three out of the last five Super Bowls is totally inexcusable and is clear evidence of some foul play going on behind the scenes to direct the game officials to screw this team. I won’t stand for it.

What did they say about the Saints call? Did Goodell apologize and they are replaying the game? Then we would have to replay the SB

Didn't you hear? Goodell is announcing that we play the Saints next Sunday.

Super Bowl LIII.5

"The game was fixed" seems to be gaining a lot of momentum in the last 5-10 years. I don't remember people claiming the game was fixed before that -- at least not at this frequency -- but now it seems like more people than ever are convinced the league has an agenda.

What's funny is this... if you truly believe the game is fixed, then you have to accept that the game may be fixed in the favor of your favorite team too. Like, let's say the game last night was fixed for the Patriots to win. Is the only reason the Rams were in the SB in the first place was because the league's guiding hand ensured it happened? Does that taint the Rams' season too?

The problem is that I've never, ever once in my life seen a fan concede that a fix could've positively affected their own team. Every. Single. Time. It's used as a coping mechanism for why their team lost -- but the thought of fixes ever benefiting their own team is inconceivable.
