Erm... Allen would start. He had 11 1/2 sacks last season in spite of constant double teams that he wouldn't face as much here. Ninkovich and draft pick/whoever else they pick up would spell him and Jones.

Our run defense was bad enough without Allen, and he's not fit to play over a 1,000 snaps again like he did last year, even though that's what he wants to do.

He's a rotational pass rusher at this point in his career, and I'd love to have him as such, but he said he'd rather retire than do that.

His sack number is overrated this season, it's been awhile since he got much quick pressure against a non bottom-tier OL.

he would probably start on any team in the league why not here. you cant double team both of them you'd have to pick your poison. (allen/jones)

The more I think of it the more I see Malcom Jenkins being the under the radar free agent pick up by the Pats.

He is versatile and young as well as respected leader.
