Once again the Pats win their final game of the season, this time vs the Dolphins, pushing Miami into an earlier draft pick.
Has Mayo made a public comment since his firing? Seems he has just disappeared.Pats will beat Miami in week 17.
He was.It is a shame because he was a good player for the team
I doubt it. I don't think he was ever a top 5 LB when he was playing. I prefer he gets passed over for guys that have been waiting much longer who played in the 70's and 80's. It's also highly likely their is some bad blood with the team.and will likely be a future Pats HOFer.
I guess nothing came out of his lawsuit threat. Grilled cheese sandwich was moldy. LolHas Mayo made a public comment since his firing? Seems he has just disappeared.

Well, there was the whole thing from his wife about suing the Pats. So no statement is probably better than a bitter one.Has Mayo made a public comment since his firing? Seems he has just disappeared.

It really felt to me like he was set up to fail, and that the team's intent was to be in the running for a top draft pick that season.Has Mayo made a public comment since his firing? Seems he has just disappeared.

This is not a troll thread. This is a legitimate discussion on where the Patriots stand and serves as a place to discuss their positioning as it changes weekly. As of now, everything is going ae planned.
To borrow from a friend of mine, the first pick in the draft is a poisoned chalice.Patriots willed out a win between two teams that played like ****.
The chase for the top pick is now in serious doubt.
He also catches like Jeff Demps, another Olympian.Well, the top WR’s aren’t predicted to go top 10, so if we wind up 15-20, we could still grab an explosive WR. I really want Nyck Harbor from South Carolina, just an incredible WR prospect, 6’5” 220 and runs a 4.3 (some say 4.2 !, is a track star too). He turned down going to the Olympic tryouts because he wants to put all his focus on football. I think he would be such an interesting red zone weapon. Tight End height, great speed.
