The Butthurt Ensues: This time it is Bruce Arians

I didn't appreciate Ariens' comments yesterday when he said that they were "obviously" not prepared to play.

Why was it obvious? So is he implying that if they had been ready they would have won as his level of preparedness is superior to BBs OR his team is better than the Patriots? What an assclown. I used to like him too. He can take that stupid hat and stuff it up his ***. He dresses like hes a modern art artist that lives in a 200sq ft condo in Tribeca

Its clear the Steelers and Colts blood still courses though his veins

Reiss, I believe in one of his Quick Hits articles, posted how many more snaps our starters played in the preseason vs. theirs. He specifically noted that he would be interested to see if it made a difference in their meeting. I wonder if he's going to revisit that notion this upcoming Sunday. I should tweet him. He's actually responded to two of mine before.

Its awesome and sad at the same time. All these franchises want to beat the Patriots- badly. Winning is all these owners have. The Cards are a SB contender. This was their moment. Their coming out party as the Sb favorite and the team that beat the Pats. Bidwell knew it. Beating the Pats would get a "atta-boy" from New York and put his team among the elites.

Instead it was Joe Pesci in Goodfellas thinking he was going to become a made guy....
if they implode, it might end with Joe Pesci in Casino.

Just a stupid thing to do IMO. Call them out in the film room, not to the media. Besides I think the biggest factor in the game was that Arians & co were simply out coached big time.

BINGO!!! Can you recall a single Patriots loss when BB didn't say afterwards that HE has to coach better?

So this azzclown instead of putting it on his back, points his finger at his players. . .you know what they say about the OTHER FOUR FINGERS!!

Never. I'm suprised he hasn't said it after a SB win. He just that kind of guy.

I believe this is the second "Casino" reference I've seen on the board today. Not only do we all share a love of our top notch football team, but we all appreciate great cinema as well. Ah yes, we are the smartest sports fans out there.

Not surprised at all...every single time the camera caught coach Arians on Sunday night, he looked completely bewildered lol

That means he likes you. :p

Me neither. I've heard coaches and players squalk about how they were better than NE (and still lost) and *****ed about headphones, etc but the rhetoric coming out of Ariens and Keim is that of panic and finger-pointing. I always thought that they were better than that and instead a calm, well-run, rational organization.

I think there is something deeper going on here.

I'll bet my bottom dollar that it's all coming from Goody's ass-kissing owner buddy Michael Bidwell and hes ripping into his entire management team for losing to the Patriots. Hes the same a-hole who was autographing deflated football hats for fans at the Super Bowl. He lost to the Pats on national TV and disappointed Goody and 345 Park Ave.

Good. Friggan whiney silver-spooned loser. F-ing Thursten Howell IV

My thought exactly. Bidwell "let down the Side."

The three Pats games at Home...free passes for the opposing owners...but the Cardinals were expected to set the tone for the entire season by clobbering the Pats...not just beating them but clobbering them.

Sunday night was the real "Season Opener" for the League Office and Bidwell's guys ****ed it up for "the 32."

Dontcha just love it!!!!

Strange. It's not like they were blown out or anything; they lost by 2 points on a missed kick. Yeah the Pats had some injuries (particularly on offense), but they were still a preseason Superbowl favorite, so AZ should have been expecting a good battle regardless. Apparently their expectations were a bit optimistic.

These types of comments do show the differences in the organizations, though, as a few others have mentioned here.

In all the years that BB has been in NE there has only been one or two instances of him even calling out opponents, let alone his own players. There was FredX. And maybe another... One time he suggested no one was wrong as often as Casserly.

Then, when time passes, people like Chung, Branch, and others are happy to return and contribute. BB does not allow petty behaviour to limit future games. He is #1. BA isn't.

There was one take on him he was looking scared ****less.

Look at Arians's history: Squealers and Dolts. Case closed. Next?

He did, didn't he?! It was as though he had no idea if what he was seeing was real or not. Someone posted his face right after Blount bulldozed his whole defense. It was almost better than Manning face . . . almost.:D

Its comical. Its like people become possessed when they lose to the Pats in a big game. They lose all their sensibilities. Martz, Warner, Faulk, LT, Fisher, Squealers in 01, Tomlin, Rexy, Polian, Joe Banner, Panthers, Joe Gibbs....the list goes on and on and on.

It's like they decided to get off Prozac

I have a theory that teams actually spend way longer than normal preparing for the Patriots, because they lose so infrequently that its a a feather in the cap for any coach that can get a victory against them...

I picture Rex Ryan dedicating extra resources to preparing game film, etc on the Patriots like 3-4 weeks before they even play them. It might be similar for other coaches and teams, they use the Patriots as a measuring stick and they take the game so seriously... when they lose, they just have a total mental melt down

For many teams, this game will be their Super Bowl. And every game coached by Rex Ryan. It's why even when he beats us, his team implodes usually right after. Their season is over, mission accomplished.

What a dolt.
