The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

And I don't know why you're expending so much energy on that. Focus on those of us who do want to talk to you.
How am I supposed to know if it's a tweet to pertinent GameDay info or just more pooping on Bill? Even if it's more Bill pooping if it's part of a new story I want to see it.

There also no way to even know who posted it and why I'm not seeing it. I just show up and I'm left wondering what's not there. So I log out to check. I suppose I could ignore what I find but I'd rather not be silenced.

Fixing notifications would help a little but the same issue will occur if I notice there's only 3 posts in a page. But I guess if Elon does it you must do it too.

You're inferring the majority here feel that way. That's not accurate. You're also acting like this is a new discussion and those of us who don't feel that way are sitting it out. That's not the case. Most people have just moved on and are focusing on the 2025 season after already having spent multiple offseasons going back to 2020 having this discussion. There's no point in rehashing it. And I can't do anything about how people feel or don't feel. It is what it is.

Either way, the fact is that emotions and opinions change with time, and unfortunately, as much as I appreciate him, he's pushed that timeline back for anyone who is on the fence due to recent events. And you're expending a lot of energy defending a guy who, at the end of the day, his overall body of work will go down as one of the best ever. Regardless of the opinions, that can't be taken away from him. But a lot of what's happening currently sort of needs to go away to make that easier for people to remember.

If this wasn't enough for you then you don't deserve any more time. Ingrates.

I had this in place well before Musk repealed Twitter's block function. I just used that as an example. I'm just saying, what's the point of seeing it if you can't reply? I'd rather not see the posts while also knowing someone doesn't want to see my posts or interact with me.

I actually don't hate the idea of being able to point out someone's BS to the rest of the world without having to get into a back and forth.

I don't see the logic in letting someone post on your message board but allowing him to censor anyone who doesn't like his opinion.

Time to apply the Ring6 Rule: Don't go beyond two go-arounds, it's not worth the energy.

Gronk is absolutely correct.

Bill too. And Gronk is probably the only other player I'd think maybe on.

Though I suppose in other parts of Patriot Place Tippett, Hannah, Drew, Bru, and a couple others wouldn't be terrible. I guess that other place is the Hall lol.

Because I can't see them unless I log out. They are trying to censor me.

Yeah I don't buy this for a second.
He would get on his hands and knees for that job and everyone knows it.

Based on the radio reports I am hearing, the Giants aren’t interested and part of the reason why is the whole clown show Belichick brings with him wherever he goes.

You realize the vast majority of people in here don't really feel that way, correct? I get there are a handful who feel a certain way, but I think most of the others are just focused on what's going on now and simply choose not to take part in that debate again. Especially since it's already been discussed so many times.

But for the ones who don't like him, it's not my place to tell people how to think. And again, either way, I don't think that number is anywhere close to where you think it is.
If you dare to criticize Belichick, SBB labels you a hater.

Any reasonable, fair look at Belichick’s behavior (on and off the field) over the past 5 years can find an awful lot to criticize, but that doesn’t matter to him. One negative word and you’re a hater for life.

Current-era BB is an owner's worst nightmare. You don't turn over a billion dollar asset to a guy whose motto is IDGAF.

I love the logic that if you don't worship the ground my idol walks on or if you think he never does anything wrong then you're not a Patriots fan lmao

I wonder how many Bills fans felt that way about OJ Simpson.

Just like any other team there are mentally ill Bills fans who believe that if you don't agree with everything they say you are a hater. And I can tell you from personal experience that there are 2 and 3 year olds who feel exactly the same way, but most grow out of it after a few years. SBB is a special case, he suffers from an acute form of narcissism that's extremely rare and untreatable. Very sad, but very true.

It's your board that has turned into the leading place in New England to hate Bill Belichick so you get guilt by association.

What an unbelievable ungrateful pos ******* you are. Ian has worked his ass off for decades providing Patriot fans with this forum and your sicko fanboy mental illness has you talking **** to him. You should back it the **** up by leaving this site for good. Take a ****ing hike loser!

In my many years here this is the single ****tiest thing I have seen. Unfortunately signbabybrady is too gutless to back it up by leaving the forum for good, and Ian is far too gracious and decent to permanently ban him. So I'll ask Ross or JMT to take matters into their own hands and permanently ban this gutless little weasel. He has no business posting in this forum anymore. Off with his little ****ing pea brain head.
