Holy crap!!! 339 pages ?? Without having to read the whole thing … has it been decided if Bill was great or did he suck? How bout the girlfriend? She great … or does she… suck?
Well one factor I didn't quite consider is that the Fins are stuck with Tua for another season at LEAST - and at a HUGE expense no less.
He's due $54 million next season - with a cap hit of $56 million. And if they opt to cut him next season- as he has somewhat lost his team at this point it seems - cutting him triggers $99 million in dead money and I believe it would cost them another $43 million on the salary cap as a result.
While he's got no guaranteed salary in 2027 he would STILL cost them an additional $32 million in dead money and $21 million on the 2027 cap even THEN. Hoo boy.
That being said if the Fins get a Top 3 pick it's tough to say no to a QB as I can't even see them being able to package trading the #1 pick to offload Tua while still trading back unless he agrees to restructure his contract for a fresh start - but why would he, and who would be willing to take him on?
So while that might STILL be a preferred option for BB, he'd still be starting behind the 8 ball given the contract and cap Hell that the Dolphins are in.
Who in their right mind would give him a contract like that? McDaniel's is on the verge of being terminated. Steven Ross has fired 2 other HCs mid season. A couple of more losses should do the trick.
2026 looks to be a QB rich draft, but I don't trust this Miami Dolphins front office to find one.
Legendary New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has been named among 12 to advance in the coaches category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Bill Belichick is a sure fire, first ballot HOFer.
If anyone doesn't vote for him then they'll need to explain why.
He has 6 rings as a HC and 2 as a DC.
At first I didn't agree with that description. Then I looked up the actual meaning and it fits her.
She's not in the same category as the skankity skank skank from Breaking Bad though.

You do understand the HOF Committee is media members and not pro football people, right?
Someone will vote against him for sure, since Bill made a sport out of pissing off the media.
Also, most of the rest of the league believes he's a cheater.
Beyond that his personal failings are on display for the world to see, largely because of choices he's made.
Like it or not that will enter into the voter's decision making, and they'll be glad to explain it all to you.
They'll love to be seen as the media member who stuck it to Bill Belichick.
That is correct in the current era. NFL knows the current players are too soft to go without paychecks for too long. I would not be one bit surprised if the current union leaders are on the NFL's payroll. That's how bad a job they do at protecting the player's interests.
Florio has theorized that the owners will do an even bigger-than-usual cash grab and, instead of tying the salary cap to revenues, give the players a set increase per year. While a "set increase" sounds good from the outside, it would no doubt be structured in such a way that the "set increase" in salaries is smaller than the increase in revenues and the players' overall percentage would be going down.
And they know the current player and fan base will find a way to rationalize it as being good for the sport, yada yada. The population as a whole has been programmed to think that we're all here to help the rich get richer.

Yeah I wouldn't be so sure anymore it's a lock that BB is in on the first ballot. More likely than not he will be but I wouldn't call it a lock. One writer has already said he is not voting for him for HOF because of the -gate scandals.
And the debacle he's in right now has tarnished his personal and professional legacy and I can imagine the media who he hated (and it was mutual) will be too happy to stick it to him.

HOFs are a joke and you explained why. The voters are media members with a clear bias.
I'm not Bill's biggest fan but his accomplishments as a HC are unmatched.
Does Tomashole get a vote?

I didn't know they kept scumbags out of the baseball hall of fame? Maybe if he pays back the people of Rhode Island the 60 million he stole from them they will let him in.

No disagreement about Schilling in general - but if his career is HOF worthy, it shouldn't count against him that RI's governor was stupid enough to give him $75 million for something he had no experience in.
I suppose at least with Belichick reporters have a perceived football related grudge against him - though still amazes me that people believe Deflategate or Spygate. Heck - you even have coordinators covering their mouths when they call in plays today - something the NFL supposedly stopped when they scapegoated the Pats.

Dude I’ve been thinking it but now I’ll go ahead and say it: Given the level of control and access BB has given her that girl must have one truly magical “asset”.
I’m talking unicorn-level kitty HAS to be the case here.
And if that’s true, I can’t even be that mad at the guy.
