Something tells me there are major issues behind the scenes at UNC at the moment. Really starting to wonder if Bill is still the coach by August.

Bwhahahaha I read the excerpt and thought 'that's some Florio worthy BS right there. Then I read a couple of comments and decided to investigate the blind link... and ofc it was Florio lmao. This is 'shoot the messenger' kind of logic.

There were two Florio reports.

The first was his respin of Pablo Torre's "strong claim" that Jordon had been banned. It was attributed to "two sources within the University of North Carolina" who were not named. It was not attributed to UNC itself.

The second contained a statement from UNC itself that was shared across multiple platforms, and that's the one I quoted.

IMO, anyone with a 8th grader's reading skills should be able to tell the difference between the two.

The bare truth is a state university who hired a legendary 73 year old coach felt it had to issue a statement that his 24 year old girlfriend doesn't work for them and only represents his personal brand. They could have issued a statement just saying she was not banned and left it at that, but nope, they went far beyond that.

IMO, it's not BS to suggest that this means they are warning anyone and everyone that she in no way represents UNC, so any emails they get from her do not necessarily represent UNC's point of view, nor do any representations she might make in a meeting, etc.

By my way of thinking, Florio was quite conservative and was not sharing his opinion. If he was, he'd probably be writing that Belichick is a simp being led around by his willy by a trollop who has taken him to the cleaners for $8M, so far.

He definitely isn't the only person who has such an opinion.

Previously, she had been directly involved with the program. She had communicated with UNC media employees with advice on how to properly frame defensive coordinator Steve Belichick’s role in order to minimize claims of nepotism, and with concerns about comments critical of Belichick that had been posted on UNC-operated websites.

Hudson also was personally involved in negotiations with NFL Films regarding the plan to feature UNC football in offseason Hard Knocks. She reportedly played an “instrumental role” in derailing the project.

That is about as careful as can be when it comes to saying "She isn't necessarily banned from campus but she isn't welcome near the football program". What a fiasco. UNC must be so ready to move on.

I’m sure UNC doesn’t like the negative attention, but if he has a great recruiting season then none of this matters. They simply want to win, and become one of the big boys in college football. If that happens whatever they paid him and the skank’s antics will be thought of as a speed bump, because they will make a fortune off of his hire.



I have never paid any attention to signing day or recruiting grades, but I’m actually interested to see how he does with this recruiting class. These kids have to know that he’s a direct pipeline to the NFL, and that’s all most of them really care about.


Turns out their 2025 class went from 78th to 34th after Belichick was hired, and their 2026 ranking is currently 11th. Belichick isn’t going anywhere.

I like how many people just believe what they read as gospel. They miss words like "should, might, potentially, possibly..." I am not denying that is seems Bill has done some pretty stupid stuff that very different from how he operated in New England. I think a 73 year old dating a 24 year old is really gross and stupid....BUT it is his life. It is her life. Let them live it the way they want. Good for them. Yes, it has become a huge distraction today at UNC, but its easy to fix with winning. Contending for a national championship melts all these sorrows away. No one cares of Bill is winning. The UNC draft class skyrocketed and will continue to do so because guy want to play for BB. Its about football. They don't care about his girlfried.

With that said, the media, including The Athletic and Florio (PFT) will continue to do their hit job peices on BB because they hate him. Oh, its deserved. There is no doubt, but it is also revenge time. Blood is in the water and the sharks are getting paid for their clicks. It won't stop anytime soon either. No, they are not reporting facts. They are reporting theory or lies.

1. Pablo Torre claimed Jordon was now banned from UNC's football facility. Its just not true. UNC said its not true.
2. Mike Florio speculated his theory and many accept it was fact. No one actually reads what he wrote.

"While she surely hasn’t been told that visiting Belichick at work would amount to trespass, she quite possibly has been told that, as someone who isn’t employed by North Carolina football, she should not be working for North Carolina football. No more emails. No more meetings. No more anything that an employee would be doing on behalf of the football program."

Did anyone catch that? SHE QUITE POSSIBLY HAS BEEN TOLD THAT... Well, well, well. The devil is in Florio's details. He is not reporting she was told she should not me doing emails, meetings, and other stuff. Be intelligent and read it. "SHE QUITE POSSIBLY." That is not fact. That is not reporting. It is 100% speculation. It is possible she was told that, but its just as possible she wasn't. In other words, Florio made it up. He has no idea what she was told. Lol. That is modern journalism. It has nothing to do with fact.

3. In today's new hit piece by Florio, he speculates "There’s a chance that, at this point, the school might welcome that. Maybe they’d even tell him to keep his $1 million. Maybe, at some point, they’d even give him $1 million or more to go."

I guarantee you this will be picked up by many readers and journalists and the mights and maybes will be left out. How does Florio know there is a chance might welcome BB's departure? He doesn't because that is pure speculation. That is what the media does, and most people fall for it.

Is Bill allowing uncharacteristic distractions? Yup. Is the media a bunch of liars and opportunists who make money on it? Yup.
