The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Read on:

On Friday morning, North Carolina issued a statement in response to a report that Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend/handler/publicist has been banned from the football facility.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the statement explains, via Chris Vannini of TheAthletic.com. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.
While she surely hasn’t been told that visiting Belichick at work would amount to trespass, she quite possibly has been told that, as someone who isn’t employed by North Carolina football, she should not be working for North Carolina football. No more emails. No more meetings. No more anything that an employee would be doing on behalf of the football program.
You know, the way it already is for every other coach of every other major college or professional football program. By saying Hudson “will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities” at the university, UNC is pointing out that she will be doing nothing as it relates to the interests of the university.

So, not a ban, but clearly some high level meetings were held to make sure everyone understood what she could and could not work on as it relates to UNC football, the outcome of which was the above statement.

Yes, read it. It is total speculation, "she quite possibly has been told..." It is then the reporters opinion that "she should not be working for North Carolina football. No more emails. No more meetings. No more anything that an employee would be doing on behalf of the football program."

It is a speculative hit job piece based on "quite possibly" followed by the reporters opinion. Not a ban, and there is no evidence in what you posted that UNC said any of it other than "Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”

That is about as careful as can be when it comes to saying "She isn't necessarily banned from campus but she isn't welcome near the football program". What a fiasco. UNC must be so ready to move on.

Something tells me there are major issues behind the scenes at UNC at the moment. Really starting to wonder if Bill is still the coach by August.

You are always so funny. UNC issues a statement refuting a bogus story and somehow you still spin that into major issues and that they are ready to move on possibly as soon as Aug.

Conflicting reports are coming out within hours and the school has to issue a carefully worded statement but there was no discussion behind the scenes about all this?

At this point you have to be trolling because no one can be this dense and hopelessly devoted to another man.

The confliction came from UNC themselves but keep on making things up.

No it didn't. The conflict came from the speculation of a reporter adding to what NC said. Read what he wrote. Its a hit piece. He says, "she quite possibly has been told that" and you are making it sound like UNC said it. It is pure speculation.

Well, there actually is a little bit more to the UNC statement. Here it is again:

“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the statement explains, via Chris Vannini of TheAthletic.com. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.

They state she is not an employee of the university or of its athletics program.
They state she will manage Bill's personal brand outside of anything related to the university or its athletics program.

Why would a university feel they need to issue such a statement?

She doesn't work for us.
She doesn't represent our brand.

Definitely not a ban, but a firm line has been drawn.

They didn't do this because they wanted to.

There's no reason they would want to have to issue such a statement.
They did it because they felt they had to.

You misunderstood me. I'm saying there weren't conflicting reports just one bad report that was followed by UNC themselves conflicting it with their statement that it's false.

It makes no difference. She is not banned and she is welcome on campus. So the reporter lied.

It is amazing how Coach "no distractions" has gone out and allowed this huge distraction to overshadow his program.

I am sure the players of "the 33rd NFL team" are just ecstatic that their hard work is being overshadowed by the HC's granddaughter, uh I mean girlfriend.

Ignore the noise... also ignore it if I'm the noise.

If it's true that Jordan's mom owns a sex shop and promotes lgbtq and other sexually degenerate behavior, it's no wonder this girl is so messed up. Bill needs to cut her loose until this destroys his life and career.

Bwhahahaha I read the excerpt and thought 'that's some Florio worthy BS' right there. Then I read a couple of comments and decided to investigate the blind link... and ofc it was Florio lmao. Whether you see his byline or not the stench of the inner lawyer weaseling its way round to make his opinion come off as a fact is unmistakable

We're getting off topic here. What does this have to do with a geriatric Belichick tarnishing his legacy by being a creeper dating a 24 year skank who's unhinged?

Fixed it for you.

It’s amazing that this man has to pay someone to tell him to wear suits to interviews and events promoting his book.

There is no TB vs BB war from me.

More like a me vs BB haters war.

Please point me to any BB guys that hate TB because I'd like to know who they are because they would suck just as much as you BB haters.

Stop the hate!
