I'm thinking 11-5. The D looks shaky to me. I just don't think we have enough/any playmakers among the LBs and DBs.

12-4 because I don't know why.

The D looks shaky because it's preseason, they have lost 3 leaders, and you have some starters that are either new to the team or 2nd year players. By Mid season this D will be dominating. Just in time for the stretch run to the prize.

Honestly - Based on what I just said - I feel very good about this team's D - All of us wanting them to be dominating right out of the block is a little ridiculous.

This offseason reminded me of the 2003 offseason. With that said, I think they'll get off to a shaky start (maybe lose the opener to Buffalo?), but turn on the nitrous in the second half to finish 17-2, with a SB blowout over the iggles.

I say 11-5. I think the schedule is a little tougher than it looks. I see Atlanta and New Orleans giving our defense a hard time.

Mon 9/14 Buffalo W
Sun 9/20 at NY Jets W
Sun 9/27 Atlanta L
Sun 10/4 Baltimore W
Sun 10/11 at Denver W
Sun 10/18 Tennessee L
Sun 10/25 at Tampa Bay W
bye
Sun 11/8 Miami W
Sun 11/15 at Indianapolis W
Sun 11/22 NY Jets W
Mon 11/30 at New Orleans L
Sun 12/6 at Miami L
Sun 12/13 Carolina W
Sun 12/20 at Buffalo W
Sun 12/27 Jacksonville W
Sun 1/3 at Houston L

I'm going to go with 13-3. Here is how I see it playing out:

Mon 9/14 Buffalo W
Sun 9/20 at NY Jets W
Sun 9/27 Atlanta W
Sun 10/4 Baltimore L
Sun 10/11 at Denver W
Sun 10/18 Tennessee W
Sun 10/25 at Tampa Bay W
bye
Sun 11/8 Miami W
Sun 11/15 at Indianapolis W
Sun 11/22 NY Jets W
Mon 11/30 at New Orleans W
Sun 12/6 at Miami L
Sun 12/13 Carolina W
Sun 12/20 at Buffalo W
Sun 12/27 Jacksonville W
Sun 1/3 at Houston L

I see us losing to Baltimore. Two years ago, they had a vastly inferior team compared to what they have now and nearly pulled out the win against us with the Pats being undefeated at the time. I know it's just the preseason, but their defense looks sick again this year and, should Flacco stay healthy, they should be able to move the ball enough to keep up with the Pats as well. The other loss comes courtesy of the Dolphins at Miami since we always seem to have a ton of problems with them for at least one game of the season. Plus, they are now sending both Jason Taylor and Joey Porter at Brady. The third loss comes in garbage time to Houston as we have already wrapped up the #1 seed in the playoffs and are playing without Brady, Moss, Welker, and a few other starters.

Really, those are the only three games I could see us losing. I think we'll sweep the Jets and Bills this year for our other divisional games.

14-2 and home-field advantage. Offense carries us into november as the secondary and pass rush get sorted out and the defense begins to play well.
AFC Playoffs:
-Wild Card
3. Colts over 6. Dolphins
4. Steelers over 5. Ravens
-Divisional
1. Pats over 4.Steelers
3. Colts over 2. Chargers
-Championship
1. Pats over 3. Colts
NFC Playoffs
-Wild Card
5. Giants over 4. Seahawks
3. Falcons over 6. Vikings
-Divisional
1. Eagles over 5. Giants
2. Packers over 3. Falcons
-Championship
2. Packers over 1. Eagles
Super Bowl XLIV:
Pats over Packers

There are many voters but I'll bump this up so the weekend posters can have their say.

13-3 because sometimes you just don't bring your aleph game

Bump .........

Well, if we finish the season beating the five remaining teams on our schedule, my prediction will be one off. I didn't do so well in predicting the games we would lose, though.

11-5 will be our record,I can see the team resting a few guys in Houston and losing there as I think by then they should have the #4 or possibly the #3 sewn up.

That is if they can get to the playoffs by winning a fuking road game!!!

TimU--looks to me like you nailed it. Hope you took that to Vegas.

I did 13-3 but I do that very year.

12-4 because I don't know why.
I sticking with this for the same reason as my original prediciton.

You're like the funniest guy here ... :eat1:

I guessed 10-6 but not in this thread ... somewhere in Ian's server ... I cannot find it.
