I don't have any control over what ESPN or the NFL says or does.

What I do know is, while it sucks, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, other than stop watching their stuff. Suing them is one of the most laughable ideas I've ever read, and will be laughed out of every courtroom in the country.

Basically, your injury is that your feelings are hurt because other people don't like you.

I don't think you can sue someone for that.

It is about the malicious and intentional lies that these outlets are spreading.

The rights they have in regards to the product they purchase the ticket for is for the game between the two teams to be played and that's pretty much it. Go read the decision throwing out the lawsuit that Jets fan filed in the wake of Cameraplacegate. The Jets fan made basically all the arguments you are making now.
