Rich Eisen...huge Jet fan in case all of you didn't know.

I had a feeling that little db was a Rats fan. Can't pinpoint it, but he looks the part. Maybe its the beady eyes.

This is really funny:

Eric Decker on Twitter:

“#jetsnation, tell me why you love the @nyjets using #jetsdiehardfan and I’ll send a signed prize to my favorite”.

Some responses:

“I love the Jets because they are consistent. They let me down week after week,” said @conor_heraty.

“I’m a #jetsdiehardfan because they let Parcells, Belichick and Carroll walk out the door. Thanks from the rest of the country!” @14TeamMocker wrote.

“because apparently I’m a masochist,” said @JP_NYJ.

Someone going by @peachy931 said simply: “butt fumble.”

I actually feel bad for Decker. He had no idea what he was really getting himself into.

How could he not know? How could his agent not know?
He damn well knew but the Benjamin's overrode whatever reservations he and his team likely had.

He knew full well what he was getting himself into...

Hard to feel for the guy, though. He's a millionaire and a good looking dude living in NYC playing a child's game. The football team he plays for just so happens to be a joke.

I'm thinking he didn't anticipate that him trying to do something cool for the fans would turn into a SOJF *****fest.

I miss the Herminator ...

Was there EVER a HC as befuddled about the game clock as herm? Watching his clueless obliviousness as the 2nd or 4th QTR counted down was comedic gold. Almost always failed to score points as that pesky clock kept marching, marching on.

Yes, but Herm was a decent human being who was out of his depth -- thrown to his fate in a fetid swamp, surrounded by horribly writhing diseased green lizards.

I believe Decker didn't get many offers in the Free Agency, not in this range. Jets overreached as usual.

A couple of weeks ago, when the Eagles had a huge lead, and Chip Kelly didn't change the tempo at which his offense played. It almost proved disastrous. I think he has since learned.

Andy Reid is still pretty high up on the clueless list.

Conversely, anyone else see the in-stadium stat before Edelman's 42-yard punt return noting that the Patriots had scored in the final two minutes of the first half in seven of their first eight games this season?

How bad is it this week in NY for the Jets?

Rex decided to bench his starter for Michael Vick whose first start is a) on the road, b) at Kansas City, c) who are coming off a bye, and d) against a coach who knows Vick inside and out - Andy Reid.

The line is Jets +9.5. No way do they cover in KC. The over/under for turnovers by Michael Vick should be 9.5.

That joke should have a preservation order.

It was first made about Doug Williams -- the only man who could overthrow the Ayatollah. Which made more sense.

Has it just got to Texas?
