It is still the preseason, but I think the Jets fans will find out Schottenheimer is not nearly as bad as they thought. I always thought he dumbed down his offense to accomodate Sanchez which made the play calling look awful. But he was dealing with the limitations of his QB.

Maybe I'm just getting soft in my old age, but I've thought of a way in which I could peacefully co-exist with the Rats and Rat Nation.

1) Force Woody Johnson to sell the team.

2) Disband the franchise, release all of the players.

3) Give the buyer a new franchise in Los Angeles, and stock it as you would any expansion team.

4) Force them to choose any color except green for their colors.

5) Ban any team from using the Rats name or logo, or anything similar.

6) Do a minor realignment to get the Rats out of the AFC East, and re-balance the divisions.

7) Purge any references to the Rats from the NFL history books.

8) Fumigate MetLife Stadium.

After that, I believe I could be at peace with that franchise and hold them no ill will.
