We had the longest hold out in 2005 in Ronnie Brown and the 2nd longest hold out last year with Jason Allen. So obviosuly, I'm excited. Ginn is now officially a Dolphin and will be in camp tomorrow.

Yep, that's your MO. Ruin Patsfans at all cost. Congrats.

Every time you guys say you don't care, you're contradicting yourselves. Why the hell do you come in the VLR if you don't care? I know you guys only know stuff about the Pats and think they are the only team in the NFL, so why bother?

Visiting Locker Room (13 Viewing)
Where we welcome fans from other teams. We're looking for intelligent fans to talk football with, so if you're just going to flame then go darken someone else's doorstep. Please keep it clean and no personal attacks, profanity, etc.

Who cares if they signed a punt returner? They used a #1 pick to replace the guy we traded for with a #2. Good steal for the Pats!!

Hey, Dolphins fans need to take all the small victories they can get, like actually signing a first rounder before camp starts.

Comparing Ginn to Welker, I thought I had seen it all. Ginn will have 5 times the career Welker does. A slow recevier with average return skills compared to a play maker who can take it the distance everytime he touches it and will get the ball in space about 10 times a game? Hmm... tough choice.

And small victories like 21-0 shlubbings.

Dude...seriously...does this make you happy ? Are you exited for the near future?

I'm really excited. We have a very good young running back, a rookie QB who has done nothing but impress and be a great player for us, 2 burners on the offense, a receiver who's still young and can really light it up while in the right position, a stud rookie at center, hopefully our new anchor at LT, yeah, this offense is on it's way.

lol what place did your team come in lol ?do you have any idea how pathetic you sound ?and you wonder why you and your team get no respect lol .its not your fault. your mama is as dumb as a box of rocks after all .lol

That wasn't the topic. The original poster said we only take small victories. Shutting out a 12-4 team and winning by 21 might be a big win.

Rofl. Didn't take you long to put your punt returner into the hall of fame did you? I love the pure homerism you display. It's really amusing. Welker is a proven receiver and punt returner.
Your rookie has done nothing in the pros. Thanks for giving us the Dion Warwick prediction of the future, all based purely on optimism.
It doesn't seem to disturb you in the least that the Dolphins passed on the Franchise QB to draft a punt returner.
Well enjoy holding onto your faint hopes while you can. You'll be crushed in the regular season as usual. :bricks:

No you haven't seen it all. From what I've read you're still wet behind the ears junior.

Funny how you change your opinion of Welker once he's in a different uniform. Even funnier how you say Ginn (who was announced by your coach to your fans on draft day as a KICK RETURNER) isn't even a comparison to a rookie who has done nothing in the NFL.

You made a post last year including Welker as part of a devastating offense Miami was going to have and now you call him a slow and average receiver. Your homerism is dripping in this post and further shows what you don't know and understand about NFL football. How can you make ANY definite statement ("Ginn will have 5 times the career Welker does") about players that haven't even stepped on an NFL field?

Your coach spent a 1st round draft pick on a KR with hopes of turning him into a special WR NEXT YEAR. However, hopes and reality are usually quite different. Good way to use your low 1st round pick, HA! Get a player that can only contribute to the team through special teams for at least year one.

I love your optimism, just try to take your blinders off a little and realize what your team drafted, a KR with potential. Not what I would want my team picking with their 1st round pick, and obviously not what Pioli and Beli look for in the 1st round either. Too much value in round one to draft "potential", especially pick #9.

So, if Welker has 50 catches this year, Ginn will have 250? That is impressive. At least you're not putting the cart before the horse.

Yes, Welker is SO SLOW that he runs as fast as Jerry Rice.

As for Ginn taking it the distance every time he touches the ball there are a few caveats with that.
1) The Phins return units have to learn how to block.
2) Ginn has to remain injury free.
3) Ginn has to learn how to run routes.

You obviously haven't read the same reports as everyone else because the news on Beck is that he was performing badly.

As for Vernon Carey at LT, been there done that. It failed.

OH, and who are these TWO burners you have? Ginn, who can't run routes and Chambers who drops balls?
