TE Aaron Hernandez injury

What did Curran actually say? I only heard what was written on this board, I thought everything on this board was 100% accurate

Curran said he heard that Hernandez's return could be more like 4-6 weeks, but the estimate was prior to the MRI and could change after the MRI.

In fairness to people on this board, they did not report it any differently than they did on Rotoworld, PFT, or ESPN.

SMY reported the injury and gave 1-2 weeks as the likely recovery time. Curran confirmed the injury and mentioned that it was feared that the timetable could be 4-6 weeks.

Confirmed injury. Timetable feared to be longer .. 4-6 RT @shalisemyoung Source: Hernandez has a sprained MCL, likely out 1-2 weeks

When someone responded to the 4-6 weeks part with an "Oh no", Curran noted that the MRI results were still pending.

So, he was reporting on a fear, but noting that the results weren't back yet. This was not the Brady recovery situation redux, where he was all alone and way out on a limb.

Mike Reiss tweet:

@LAPatriot See how the MRI goes today with Hernandez and then we'll know more. My sense is longer, but that's only a hunch.

Thanks Deus

Hoping that he can come back in 3 weeks from the injury, that way we'd be able to utilize his skills for the NYJ game; which is probably one of the teams (if not THE team) who we would need him most for, considering their CB's and scheme.

I'm certainly not as worried against the Bills and Raiders, and even if he's ready next week, I'd rather that they just take a cautious approach and rest him/save him for the NYJ and the rest of the season.

3 weeks is relatively reasonable no matter what, in my opinion. Especially after a bit of optimistic news from him today. I'd absolutely hate to rush him back, just for the OAK game unnecessarily.

Curran is a no nothing plagiarist. He fabricates his own version of a story
