I’m not sure Daniels makes it to 5 because of trade UP’s .

Basically, the Denver win cost them pick of QB OR significantly more draft capital in a trade down. Which sucks because not only did you have to watch HORRIBLE football for a season, and watch Mac implode, you also don’t get a shot at a top QB pick of that’s what your draft board said was best.

That’s a fact.

Wether it matters won’t be settled for years, but it was the domino that changed everything.

Now, a loss to the Jets would make that W a wash but I don’t see the Pats losing to the Jets barring some odd turn of events.

I think someone's coming up for one of these QBs wether that's us or someone else but I also would hesitate to expect too many teams to do it someone's going to want Harrison and not risk losing him if they trade to far. Same for the top LT and or defender.

Who is gonna give up their pick?

Why would Washington give up a QB? Why would Chicago or the Cardinals give up on a QB or Harrison?

Why would we move up from 5 to take what amounts to the third QB off the board?

If the Patriots are at 5 it actually is way more beneficial for them to move down.
