Screw that. Anyone who has ever played football knows that there has to be 7 men on the LOS. The only ones who can catch the ball are the two players on the end on each side.

So even if the refs didn't make it clear who was ineligible, as knowledgeable football should know either way. However, it's even more embarrassing for the Ravens because the refs constantly made it very clear who was ineligible and they were too dumb to change anything.

If they only got fooled once, okay, they could be a little upset. But they got fooled 3 times in a row and refused to change anything up. Harbaugh got taken to the coaching woodshed there.

Pro-tip: If you are that confused. Call a timeout.

These Harbaugh boys are very emotional.

I respect what John has accomplished as a coach but last night, he was out-coached and to me, had a difficult time handling it- which makes him look foolish when trying to redirect blame for his own shortcomings.

What was even more surprising to me was not just that he was momentarily fooled, but that the defense didn't bother to check into their safe call for the entire drive.

I think Harbaugh is whining loudly to cover up the fact that he and the defense literally froze as a result of the eligibility adjustment. If they didn't understand what was coming, they could have checked into default zone, or something to that effect, but they didn't. That one is 100% on Harbaugh and Pees.
