Take a guess who’s third in sacks among rookies?

Winovich is getting less snaps for some reason, but when is playing he noticeable and even though individual stats are not important for this team he is doing better than expected.

Game 1: 38 snaps for 57%
Game 2: 26 snaps for 42%
Game 3: 13 snaps for 26%
Game 4: 7 snaps for 7%
Game 5: 16 snaps for 29%
Game 6: 14 snaps for 28%
Game 7: 20 snaps for 33%
Game 8: 18 snaps for 27%

J Allen 7th overall- 2 FF 7 sacks 8 TFL 12 QBH (Not sure why some aren't talking abt him & Bosa for dpoy)

Bosa 2nd overall - 1 FF 1INT 7 sacks 11 TFL 13 QBH

Wino 77th overall - 4.5 sacks 3 TFL 6QBH

Not even going to get into snaps, starts etc. Wino is a high floor, older player. Think Wise. That said his skill set is pretty polished & he has a motor that is unmatched. Excellent value pick. His #'s would look a lot better if he was on abt 20 other teams. 50 is buried in the chart but still making it count.

Don't be so sure his numbers would be better elsewhere. More snaps also means less energy per snap. These guys do get tired. Also our excellent secondary spits out numerous coverage sacks which won't exist elsewhere where QBs aren't holding ball for as long.

Have we settled on a nickname yet?

How about "Chase" since he "chases" the quarterback?
Or how about "Winovich" since he helps the team "win"?

"" 3rd down...3rd and 12...Vinovich referee...Winovich pass rush...
Game on the line...""

:D

I think it's pretty obvious that BB will move him to a starting role next year and move on from either KVN/Collins or both.

3rd = 2nd loser

just saying
