It's a tough comparison to some of the best comics out there, but after watching him on the McAfee draft show I thought he'd be a lot smoother. Guess I set my expectations too high.

Completely different. McAfee was a very small audience talking about the one subject he is very comfortable talking about.

Speaking in front of 16k people and doing it on something he is not at all familiar with, reading from a screen, plus he may have been hesitant not to piss off Brady and Bill has never been one for public speaking, let alone joking. Finally comedic timing is something that is learned through practice even for the pros.

Given all that, he did really well. Much better than I would have expected in fact.

BB was great
JE11 was good
Gronk was brutal
Tom was fine. Still stiff
Kraft/BB moment was VERY weird
The professional comedians were pretty good.

I've never been a huge fan of his but I really enjoyed Kevin Hart in this format. I got the giggles a few times.

I definitely preferred the football humor to the more personal stuff, but being a Patriots fan, I felt that was more meant for us anyway.

Sally Jenkins from the Washington Post was definitely not a fan of the roast, however.

I found Kill Tony especially funny and I never had heard of the guy before. Hart's post reaction was priceless.
