After Jeff Ross made a massage Kraft joke, Brady marched up to the guy and said something along the lines of “don’t say that **** again.”
Do we think Brady was being sincere there? I’m not so sure that was part of the joke. I think he might’ve felt Kraft was off limits. Maybe his declining health has something to do with it.
I didn't get that. I was just out of the loop. I thought his rapid fire delivery was amateurish. No space to figure out what just happened.A lot of stuff got repeated I suppose as a pro he should be able to clean it up better on the spot but his kings bit on Kreicher was possibly the funniest line of the night.
It was the roast of Tom Brady, not the roast of his friends and family. Him taking offense to that lines up exactly with the man we've seen for 24 years. So this was one moment of the night that felt broke through the “roast”.

Though I'll say it backfired since it created a moment and now that moment is all over all types of media.
It was a joke - to play on the whole Will Smith thing. The whispering into a microphone makes it even more obvious.
I turned it on for two minutes, shut it off after being annoyed with Kevin Hart. Now after seeing clips this morning, I wish I watched it. I will def be checking it out tonight.
You definitely should man! The entire show had me smiling with pride, laughing, and even getting teary eyed at times. Just seeing all the boys up there showing love for one another, especially those that have had anemosity, was the best thing ive watched in years. Maybe since the last SB.
He punked the JETE also. (Looking at the comedians) “Who picked this lineup..the Jets front office?”I don’t care if his reaction to Ross was a work or not. He probably views Bob as the guy who played a big role in his career and will always be thankful. I think Bob could’ve handled some things better but we all could’ve handled some things better ourselves. I’m pretty happy that Brady punked the Colts, Bills and Chiefs though!
It's a roast Kraft was in attendance and even did a joke of his own I think it's fair game.It was the roast of Tom Brady, not the roast of his friends and family. Him taking offense to that lines up exactly with the man we've seen for 24 years.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they said "hey let's get a Kraft joke out of the way early, you can save face by stepping in, and then it will get people talking"It's concerning to me how many people don't understand a work.
So to be clear. When Kevin Hart said **** them kids and your wife has bruises on her ass not from the karate lessons but from the pounding she took from the teacher wasn't triggering but saying he asked Kraft if he wanted a massage was a bridge too far?
Don't buy it. Tom sat there with his hands on his chair waiting for his cue to get up there and whisper that nonsense into Jeff Ross ear.
It was a work and it apparently worked on all the marks.
Right, i felt like it was all part of the joke. Brady knew whatever he said would get picked up by the microphone
I thought this was his best joke: "Seriously I’m so honored to be here for the roast of Tom Brady on Netflix. It’s not to be confused with the roast of Bill Belichick on the 10-part Apple TV series.”Belichick torched Amendola.
