I am not disputing the fact that Vrabel made decisions.
I am saying that Vrabel made those decisions mostly based on reports, grades and commentary made from Wolf's analytics and Wolf's recommendations and commentary.
JK has mentioned this numerous times.

I don’t think we are far off in our views. I think Wolf took the scouting and evaluated and graded the players, then Vrabel identified the kinds of players he wanted to build the kind of team he wanted, and all 4 of Wolf, Vrabel, Cowden, and Streicher identified those players in this draft that fit their profile, and then used the board Wolf had put together to identify who would be available in each round that would fit their profile and fill the needs they wanted to address. I think all 4 had input during the draft, but Vrabel had final say on all draft decisions.

I would agree
I feel where we disagree is how the 2024 draft unfolded and how much Wolf impacted the evaluations, grades, trends and tendencies opposed to Bill's input on such.

Haven't played a regular season game yet.

"best draft in years and years"

Will Campbell starting left tackle

Trevion Henderson starting running back

Kyle Williams starting WR

Jared Wilson starting left guard

Craig Woodson starting safety

Efton Chism undrafted, will become their starting slot.

All of these guys are off to great starts. Do they have a lot to prove, yes, will they have their struggles, yes. Do they look like good choices, imo absolutely.

I think the onus for the 24’ Draft is on Wolf, because he had final say, but I definitely think not being able to use his system affected the outcome. 25’ was light years better. The previous 24 years were all Belichick, the king of control freaks.

Being penciled in as a starter doesn't matter to me. Chris Canty started at corner for us. Monty Beisel started for us. Deltha O'Neil started for us.

Dubbing a draft a success before they've played a regular season snap has been done before. We've all done it, but we've seen all these teams win the offseason Lombardi only to crash and burn while our team hauls in championships winning with players that draftniks on this very board fumed over us picking in lieu of their binkies. So I learned not to do that with our own offseason moves.

I hope you're right, but I believe it takes 2+ seasons to fully evaluate a draft.

You’re right of course, but I still love this draft and think they found a bunch of good players. Just can’t help myself.

I think this is a likely scenario of how their draft process worked.

Deltha O’Neill running full speed:

No signing could ever be worse to me than the following two:

Albert Haynesworth
Juju Smith Schuster-tied with-Mohammed Sanu

Woof.

Surprise trade: K White. The tweener who can't get it done at either DT (too small) or DE (not fast enough).

Greg floated White for a 4th on 98.5 clip this am.

I take that deal right now but don’t see it.

He may have been dogging it, but he’s on the hot seat. He talked a lot **** last year pointing fingers as to why he became Casper the Friendly Ghost throughout the season.

Also the guy whose evaluation and grading system just gave them the best draft in years and years.
To be fair the 2023 draft appears to be decent-ish.

CB1- Gonzo- very good CB when healthy
Backup DL- White- Lots of potential, imo should strictly be an IDL
Backup LB- Mapu- has been a bust but might stick as a back up LB (TBD)
Starting Center for Houston- Jake Andrews- Penciled in as the starter
starting K for Arizona- Chad Ryland- very iffy here, but still a successful player at least last year
Probable starting WR- Booty- 6th round dart throw, bounced back last year
Starting Punter- Baringer- Arguably top 5 punter
Starting WR- Pop- Should flourish in this iteration of the offense

Thats not a bad draft

Fair enough.

He looked like he might have been sick because he was super sluggish

Wolf was also hamstrung by the Coaching staff not identifying the type of players they wanted because I don't think Mayo, AVP and the DC knew what they wanted.
