Super Bowl LIII: Media night thread

I'd hate to see Dev go, but right now I'm just focusing on one game and one team..
Can't think about next year yet!!!
Any way you look at it, we knew that there would be some clearing of cap space, so while it would suck to lose Devin, saving an extra 9.5m in space would be huge.

Same goes for Gronk, of course. Losing these players obviously isn’t ideal, but the team has decent draft capital and would be players in free agency, too. This type of savings could potentially free up money for either tagging or extending Flowers.

I'd be thrilled for Devin to go out on top. He is still a good player and great leader but it would be a wonderful story for him to win it all with his brother and retire!

This is the key part. Retiring would not make it any better.

For him it might. Would you rather go out on top winning your third Super Bowl with your brother and proceed to spend your time with your family? Or just keep on playing until you are washed up and get traded or released?

Money obviously plays a factor here but not everyone is Tom Brady and wants to play until they cannot physically do it any longer.

This is a funny video I found dealing with Belichick last night

Arthur Banks looks like Count Dracula.
