Was anyone else as appalled at that sorry excuse for an anthem, a Harmonica are you kidding me. Sometimes the game presentation can be a little bush league at the stadium.
 
I thought it was horrible. Especially when he went onto the high notes. Ouch.

I was walking into the stadium when it was being played, I thought it was a flute. I agree it was horrible.

Oh man, I disagree. I thought it was fabulous! It was unique, and very well done. That guy is a talented recording artist, and just because it was an instrumental version of the anthem doesn't render it any less meaningful. The crowd liked it too. In days past at sporting events it was usually a marching band that played the national anthem and it was up to the crowd to sing (or not). I'll take a virtuoso instrumentalist over a singer doing the anthem any day.
