Suggest your Patriots Game Plan for the Bills

Either way I don't see where 'deserve' came into the equation.

Obviously I can't speak for mg, but I'm guessing that his wording of the word "deserve" was more related to the cut and possible lack of immediate cohesion aspect than it was to actually deserving the loss on a level of karma.

Otherwise, anyone could use that excuse with any given loss this year as it relates to the Welker situation (which I'm sure we'll see some attempts ).

Either way, I definitely agree with you that no one "deserved" anything other than parting ways with Milloy for whatever reason was chosen by Belichick. Luckily we saw the cohesion of the secondary greatly improve very quickly after the initial loss to BUF in the season opener and everything ended up perfectly.

Offense should be able to put up >3 TDs in their sleep. I will look for improvement in defense covering RBs and TEs and tacking. Also, with Bolden, Ebner and Harmon out, keep an eye on STs.

We deserved everything we got that day after cutting Milloy. Of course, we won the Super Bowl that year.

I remember the segment during the game where Bledsoe, Milloy and Sam Gash talked about how the Bills were such a family and Milloy and Gash ripped BB and the Patriots organization.

I can understand Milloy was bitter but I never understood what the deal was with Gash saying those things. He wasn't even a Patriot when BB was coach and it was more than 5 years since he left the team....as if he had any clue on what was going on with the team....

As for this game I'm also one of those who don't think this will be a cakewalk.

As I said before the Bills have been terrible over the years but they've tended to be good in home openers...5-3 in the last 8 seasons and the 3 losses were by a combined 15 points. Other than a couple of games they've also been competitve against the Pats in recent years.

I want to see the defense stop those short passes out of the backfield to the Spillers and Fred Jacksons and the like. The Pats haven't done well in those matchups at all, hopefully there's an improvement today.
