Jeez, I clicked back a few times from "everybody loves Raymond", yes, that's how bored and disgusted I am with this watered down, over hyped league anymore. Froob had it right. SNOOOZEFEST!! It's amazing how Gruden can whip up excitement out of this garbage. He could make a snowball enticing to an Eskimo. We are witnessing the end of "real" Football with the Pats. I think there are just a few Orgs left that are old school. Pats, Pitt, Dallas, Giants, etc... IDK, It's just too over hyped. We are very lucky to watch such a great combo of BB and TB in their prime. It's over after this IMO

It was the first sport I was a fan of, which is a main reason for my personal affection. Come playoff time, every single pitch is so important - any one pitch can decide a series. It's the tension that builds on a given pitch/moment that is so great.

That and the fascination with great athletes in general. "That dude is 5'8'' 160 lbs - how the **** is he throwing 97 mph heat?!"

The same as any sport. Watching evolving strategies as phenomenally talented people battle it out. Football has always been my favorite because of the wild stuff coaches can come up with, but I still enjoy watching pitchers and batters work each other and some of the wild plays by the fielders.
