No, 10 guys screwed up yesterday. 1 was the HC of the Lions and the other 9 were the refs on the field who couldn't see what 30 million Americans saw.
There is no way whatsoever the ruling on the field would have been upheld if it went to review. Let there be no "may or may not" ambiguity about it. There is a 100% chance it would have been overturned and a 0% chance it would have been upheld.
Not in real time they didn't... And whether as a change of possession or score it was going to be reviewed by the replay official. Until an idiot did something really stupid that he admits he knew was wrong but he was just so pissed at some of their earlier failures to rule in his favor...he did it anyway. This is why it has to be penalized severely. Look at the undisciplined team this same jerk continues to run because short of what amounts to chump change his guys never face onerous consequences... And his team blew multiple chances to win that game after their HC spotted the Texans another 7. And despite all that talent there is a reason Detroit continues to disappoint it's fans...that has nothing to do with anyone or anything outside it's own locker room.
