One thing I noticed is that Logan Ryan got better every season he played for the Patriots. By the end, he was a player who won by being smart and reliable. He's transitioned to safety and is only 32. I could think of worse players to sign!

Logan had marginal speed as a CB, but he'd have plenty as FS. If you are playing single deep, how you process the play after the snap is WAY more important than raw speed.

I would be good having Mills playing CB while Jack Jones and Gonzo perfect their craft with Ryan as my deep S and Mills being the depth. Here's the thing. You cannot have too many quality CB's these days. I would LOVE to see the Pats sign Logan. He's made his money. Time for him to come home.
