I watched a lot of Gibson with the Rams. Unlike LaFell, who was always steady if unexciting, Gibson's exciting and totally unreliable. He'll make a circus catch one play and drops an easy ball that hits him in the hands the next. He's got a ton of physical talent but doesn't seem to have the mental aspect of the game down. But on the other hand, on a minimum contract he could be a steal.
You've just described Brandon Lloyd.

Yes. But the question is whether he will ever be the same. Players often/usually aren't after that injury. His production was way off in 2014, just 29 catches, 295 yards. The Pats are making a small bet. Can he bounce back to his 2013 level of play, when Belichick was impressed with what he saw?
Would you rather have Brandon Gibson or Andre Caldwell?

Sounds like Dropson .......

Well Johnsons twitter handle is C?lifornia cool 13, I don't see him leaving the bay area hope I'm wrong.

I actually do like Campanaro... But that's kind of a rough group to be sure.
Currently look at the AFC as it stands today.

How many AFC teams have a great #3 receiver let alone a respectable #4 four wide receiver?

Meanwhile, Steve Smith Sr will be 36 years old once the 2015 NFL Season commences.

Not many, but we aren't trying to just be better than the average AFC team, we want to be the best AFC team, and the best NFL team. Only a small handful of teams have good depth at receiver, but those are the teams that we must measure the Patriots against.

Well I am going to choose the pessimistic side here to avoid disappointment In this.

Wish Brady would get on the phone or go meet him.
I'm sure Rivers reached out.
It will be damn near impossible to drag him out of Calli and he would get a ton of targets in San Diego.
However if he wants to win a Superbowl and be on the side that defeated his team for so many seasons he would choose us.
But the weather and snow he had all that in Buff I think he would choose sunny days.
Hope I'm wrong, I wonder if he has his mind made up or he has to really do some soul searching or hoping one team ups its offer.
This putting the decision off thing makes me think he's choosing the Super Chargers

The AFC does not scare me.

Broncos - no Wes Welker, no Julius Thomas, no Orlando Franklin, no Pot Roast, no Rahim Moore
Ravens - no wide receivers aside from old man Steve Smith Sr
Steelers - no defense whatsoever
Colts - no rush defense
Bengals - no playoff quarterback
Texans - no quarterback
Jets - no quarterback
Bills - no quarterback
Dolphins - LOL!Phins

Definitely feel like he's going to be a charger. Hope I'm wrong - if he and Brady were able to get on the same page they would tear it up

Stopped in to a church I passed along the way
Well I got down on my knees
(got down on my knees)
And I pretend to pray
(I pretend to pray)
You know the preacher likes the cold
(preacher likes the cold)
He knows I'm gonna stay
(knows I'm gonna stay)
California dreamin'
(California dreamin') on such a winter's day
