if you search out the game stats from those years you'll see.

Esspecially those Atlanta games. I think the 49ers lost a couple in a row to atlanta and atlanta made a trophy for it. (i forget the name of the trophy) so the 49ers made it a mission to punish the falcons.

Just checked the Superbowl XXIX play by play...SF did pull Young early in the 4th. Their 4th quarter plays were run on 1st, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd, punt. (3 series) Both backups played though.
Personally, I want the Pats to go bombs away for 60 minutes and just rack em up...Let's witness greatness!!!

My dad and I were left sitting there going "What the hell was that supposed to mean?!?" Also he just rambled and made no sense about anything else in his segment either.

I doubt the game will be out of hand enough this week to permit, but man would I love to see the Patriots able to take a knee with 10 minutes left at some point this year. Just take a knee three times at their own 20 and punt.

What would stick it in the face of these media idiots more? Talk about humiliating your opponent. That would take the cake.

It also puts your opponent in an impossible position. What do you say if then they put the 2 minute drill on and try to score? Are these idiots actually going to argue that a team is forced by "sportsmanship" to stop trying to score when its opponent doesn't do the same?
