Follows the life of former saints star Steve Gleason and his battle with ALS. What a sad story. I hope they find a cure for this terrible disease. My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve and his family.

I watched it. Wish the best for Steve and hope he doesn't give up. Pretty touching piece.

Good to call attention to ALS, but I think the Machu Picchu "quest" was gratuitously overdone. It said more about Gleason's friends than about Gleason himself. A similar (and much better) story aired recently by NFL Films profiled legendary football writer Paul Zimmerman and his life after a crippling stroke. That guy's story should've gotten the hour-long treatment on "A Football Life" instead of just 18 minutes on "NFL Films Presents."
