I don't see anything wrong with this signing myself but don't hold your breath on that one. IMO, we should still be looking at a RG in the draft unless they are confident that Kaczur is the guard of the future.

They have to draft a guard early on anyway. Mankins is only on contract for one more year, and Kaczur is no sure thing at guard.

Great, they re-hired a guy they already had, and this guy can't stay healthy to save his life, he played 12 last year, which was the MOST for the last 3 years, 07-08 was 8 and 9 games(Great 07 SB stevo- WTG.......) with 13 the year before.
Good player WHEN he plays, but with him in there they will NEVER get a great player in that position because as long as he's hanging on by a thread they will not concentrate on that position.
That's THREE re-signs, yet no upgrades.......
It's beginning to look like they were happy with last year, they seem to forget that they weren't the killer team they used to be, and that was BEFORE they lost Wes.

I guess all I can do is pray that they aren't counting on a bunch of Rooks to pick up the slack..bah I'm praying for a miracle at this point.

Funny, I thought the Pats used a 4th rounder in 2009 on a guard. His name was Rich Ohrnberger.

Great - Neal will always be the only NFL player from my alma mater considering Cal State Bakersfield has no football team We know Faulk will return, now we need Bodden and a couple decent mid level FA and things will be looking up.

Does anyone have a report on whatever injuries were most recent and what the likelihood is that he is healthy for camp?

That's where Neal came from, he was a NCAA champion wrestler in college. The chance of it happening again from a guy not playing any college football is remote, though.

One of the announcers on Tv said a while ago he beat Brock Lesnar in high school wrestling.
