Steelers @ Texans Christmas Game thread

Anyone who says they have no fear of Pittsburgh, is delusional. This offense is good enough to catch the Pats on any given Sunday. Don't fool yourself. And this is coming from the staunchest of Pittsburgh haters.

I don’t fear any team in this league but I respect Pitt. They are certainly capable of beating us as we saw last weekend.

If Yates doesn't stop staring down his receivers, he is going to throw multiple picks today.

3rd and 8? Go for 30 into double coverage.

The jags are pretenders. We saw it yesterday. I expect them to rest players next week and watch them struggle in the playoffs.

They are not pretenders but front runners. If you spot them a lead they can be dangerous to anyone really. Once they are falling behind they are screwed unless you turn the ball over.

Poor choice of words on my part. I don't fear them per say, but I'd rather not play that offense in the post season...regardless if it's in Foxboro or Pittsburgh.

They gave a good come from behind effort against SF.

Not sure a game at home with our injured players back will be as close as the one in Pittsburgh.

Do they have another QB besides Yates? Whose the backup?

Joe Haden is BALLING. He’s following one of the best receivers in the league in Hopkins around the field in his first game back and got him on STRAPS. Jumps a slant for a near pick and then perfect coverage on slot fade.

If anything would concern me about a rematch, he would.

Why on third down is Clowney dropping back into coverage?????

I think the Steelers are a good team and you don't get to 13-3 by accident (which is likely their final record). They've found ways to win games and they have good players all over the field. However, I think we're the superior team, especially in Foxboro. Even at Heinz Field we can beat them as we showed last week. We're the team that people should be afraid of, a coach and quarterback that have won 5 SBs together and have played in more important games than anyone can count. We have the best coach and the GOAT at QB, not to mention an absolute monster at TE and a host of good RBs and receivers. We're well coached, mentally tough and skilled at many positions. We're the team that should be feared. Are we unbeatable? Absolutely not, nobody ever is. You have to go out and execute and play well in this league if you want to win...nothing is a given especially against a good team. But I like our chances as much as anybody's this year, and that's pretty much how it's been every year for nearly 20 years now. I don't care where we play or whom we play, with the coaching staff we have and the players we have we can beat anyone. Isn't that all you can really ask for? Go Pats!

TJ Yates leaves a bit to be desired...bear in mind

That's incomplete or an INT. Big Ben throwing into triple coverage.

It's so crazy to think back to when Watson was a legit MVP candidate. I mean look at what he was able to do with this Texans team (with JJ Watt). They’re trash af without him now.

Some of those pieces on defense are getting older. Watt's never healthy. It will be interesting to see what they do next year but it surely doesn't help that they won't have a first or second rounder.
