I don’t want to invest a ton of cap to JC Jackson we need to rebuild the D line, the Linebackers, O line, WRs. Spending so much cap on one player is not the solution.
We need new talent all over the team as well as new coaches.
Honestly this would be a terrible end for Belichick. If im Kraft right now everything’s on the table including looking at Belichick.
Maybe you trade Belichick to the Giants for some picks.
I’d franchise and trade JC, we need all the picks we can get.
Honestly that post someone made about the Colts pain in the locker room was Karma that led up to this.
We need to scrap the old ways todays NFL is not the NFL from
20 years ago. We need Mac to work on throwing power and getting stronger.
I would love to be a fly on the wall for Belichicks, Krafts meeting.
HT is done. He used to look slow in coverage now he looks old and slow in every role.
We will see. What a load of sh.t. They lost because they hurt the Colts feelings? Trade Belichick to the Giants? You do realize he’s not a player, right? Are you one of Woody Johnson’s offspring? If you were a fly on the wall anyone with half a brain would take their shoe off and make you go splat.
“ We need to scrap the old ways….and have Mac get stronger.” Yeah, this working out stuff is brand new to the NFL.
You really need to stop with the knee jerk reactions you give every day. Rebuilding a team takes time and patience. Go look at the post by Robert Weathers, as that is a critical look at this team that recognizes the things they need to do to become a true contender again. He’s no less critical than you or anyone else, but he isn’t bat shot crazy thinking they need to burn the whole thing down and go get the “ hottest” commodity head coach, an approach that leads to disaster for every franchise that goes that route. The Patriots have plenty of work to do, and it will likely includes letting many of their veterans go their own way, and that will almost certainly include JC Jackson, but they will do it in a measured and intelligent fashion, with the intent on building a stronger team for next year and the future.
And if you think that Kraft is going to bring Belichick and ream him out you are living in fantasy land. Belichick and Brady are the reasons that Kraft’s franchise went from a value of around 250 million to 2 Billion plus, and if Belichick tells him to pound sand and walks off it will screw any hopes they have of becoming a true contender again for a long long time.
Let me elaborate.

The man just had a really solid draft, and an above avg. FA. He took a team with a rookie QB to the playoffs, and you want to trade him to the Giants for draft capital? So, that what? Who are you going to bring in? Bill leaves, that means most of the entire staff would leave. You’d be starting all over with a brand new coach at almost every level. All new FO guys. The works. Then they would gut the roster to build it the way that they want it. That would take years, but good thing that draft capital we got by trading away the GOAT coach is now all moving onto their second contract.Let me elaborate.

Keep Folk, but Trent "Turnstile" Brown can get down the road.I went to OVerthe Cap and used the calculator to get the Pats to $32 million in cap space by....
Cutting Wynn is a no brainer, saves over 10 million with no dead money.
McCourty is done, he is brutally bad and a giant waste of cap space. Even when he is no longer on the team next year, he is still going to over $2 million in cap space.
Hightower is also done.
Its time to admit thier draft busts and cut Harry, Slowjuan, Winovich, Asiasi, and Keene.
Other cuts, Henry Anderson, Guy.
The only FAs I would bring back is JCJ (probably have to franchise him), Meyers (original round tender), Brown, and Folk (these moves eat up @ 19 million in cap space)

I mean he had Tom Brady. Every GM would look good if they had Tom Brady“ We need to scrap the old ways……”
Name the GM who has won more Lombardi’s in the last ten years than Belichick?”
That’s the most recent history in the NFL.
No one else has more than one.
I’m pretty sure that when you pick up a 5th year option, that contract is fully guaranteed. We’re on the hook for Wynns money.I went to OVerthe Cap and used the calculator to get the Pats to $32 million in cap space by....
