Did you see the reversal of the Utech fumble today!
The Ref (Terry McCauley) reversed a CLEAR fumble and instead of calling Utech down, he said that the pass was incomplete after Utech CLEARLY had possesion of the reception.
Next play................touchdown pass to Reggie Wayne.
Make NO mistake, NFL officials ARE CLEARLY favoring the Colts!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think there is any question the refs favor the Colts.
WHY, is the question.
NEM and I were talking about this same issue earlier today. And, as some of you have pointed out here, it happened again today:
Jaguars 8 penalties for 64 yards
Colts 2 Penalties for 15 yards
Now it could be that's just the difference between a more disciplined team and a less disciplined team. But this seems to be the case CONSTANTLY - and, more to the point, every time I watch the Colts it NEVER passes the eye-test. It's ridiculous.
what that doesn't show is the false start penalty they called on the jags right after we was going for a pick 6..
Yeah but none of us that watch tv are trained to make the right calls, its not like were all down on the field to see what the refs see. If the shoe was on the other foot you would feel the same way im sure. I have heard people say that you could call holding on almost every play.
Yeah with them right on the field, right on top of the players you'd think they'd make the right call. You'd think that wouldn't ya?
They didn't call that a complete pass did they?
do you have a link to the video from this, thats kind of hard to tell because he could have dragged his foot and been in bounds..

Uhm yeah. One "official" on each side of him. He clearly came down out of bounds and they called it a catch. BB had to waste a challenge and then the zebras had no choice they had to over turn it. But, as usual they did all they could to be Manning's little helpers.
And here's video for ya.
your supposed to have complete possession of the ball all the way to the ground and it got stipped before he was down, therefore an incomplete pass...everybody is so convinced the refs are helping the Colts that every single time there is a call like that, everybody goes nuts
This just confirms what I've always believed and that is that Bill Polian has intimidated these officials to the point of fear. You see it every game the Colts play, the officials fear the wrath of Polian the following Monday, it's corruption to the nth degree.............
Shula's teams were consistently among the least penalized in the NFL, and Shula served on the Rules Committee, to help change the game to a more pass oriented modern league.
