Yes it does. They rotate based upon SOS to mitigate the advantage of the tie breaker.
That has nothing to do with whether it is a valid metric and/or the best metric

So it doesn't. Got it.

@Ian where is the yawn emoji in the reaction menu? It would save me a lot of time arguing and debating such trivial matters with those who insist on a ridiculous pissing match.

He fumbled the ball when he got hit.

Yes you are. He played the rest of the game. The medical staff determined, in an overly cautious atmosphere, that he was fine.

Do you really think if there was any doubt the future of the franchise would be playing in a 40-7 blowout on a 3-13 team? If there was ever a reason to operate with an abundance of caution this is it.

I’m not making anything up, I’m looking at clear facts.

He didn't play the rest of the game. He missed the entire next drive.

Probably put back in to save Mayo's ass if we're using our brains in the matter.

they should have sat him last game for sure and should def sit him this game. he's the future for the pats. you don't want to screw that up.

Probably but I think it's clear that because Maye wanted to play, Mayo was more than ok with it.

The game was gonna be a disaster with or without him but without him you can't hold back the rabid crowd for as long as they did. Mayo isn't stupid. (Edit* better word here is oblivious)

I'm guessing the first concussion he got he was benched because Mayo decided that.

I thought the "concussion" against the chargers that they cleared him in he displayed way more signs of someone who was rocked than the one that took him out against the Jets.

Oh Jesus. He played the rest of the game after being evaluated.

Your brain tells you the medical staff was negligent because they thought risking the QBOTF was smart because it might make the difference in saving Mayos job in a blowout? Your brain told you that huh?

Coaches cannot make decisions about concussions. It is 100% the medical staff.

I was just getting the facts out there since you have a hard time with those.

He did not play the rest of the game. He played most of the rest of the game.

I hope that helps you.

I didn't say he made a decision on the concussion. Now you just putting words in my mouth.

The order is absolutely based upon a SOS tie-breaker. How do you think they determine it?

You have lost each and every argument, so just give it up. You don’t even have to concede, just stop. You are so far from correct it’s not even funny.

Why are you insisting on arguing trivial matters and having a ridiculous pissing match?

You said to mitigate a advantage. Are you acknowledging that playing a weaker schedule is now a advantage to playing a harder one? So the team who has it easiest is being rewarded?

This is what I was talking about about how you have zero ability on how to infer. But if you want to get into a contest about parsing of words that is not one you're going to be able to win. It's really hard to get through your run-on sentences and giant paragraphs of nonsense.

Let me help you out. I said that during the first concussion mayo made the decision to hold him out.

I did not say that he made the decision on his concussion.

i want them to treat this as a preseason game. purely for the evaluation of the young players.

No I am saying the team that wins the tie breaker has an advantage in the first round so to mitigate that they rotate them in future rounds.

Of course the team with easiest schedule is being “rewarded”. The entire draft order concept rewards failure. That’s literally the point.
If you gave the same record against a weaker schedule you “failed more”

You do realize that if they used traditional tiebreakers, like head to head, the team who LOST head to head would get the first pick right?

Are you struggling with the concept that draft order “rewards” being bad and always has?

It’s the same thing. If there is a concussion the cos h has no decision about whether to hold him out or not the independent medical staff tells the coach he can’t play.
You know that independent medical staff that you think risked mayes brain to save Mayos job. The more you talk the worse you bury yourself.

There is no advantage. You earned it through your record.

I'm alleging that there was no concussion and that they just put him in the protocol to protect him being only his 3rd game.

That's my allegation here.

Alleging based upon what?
