DEFENSE

Brandon Browner
-Yea he had a few penalties (first one was BS), but he's a total TONE SETTER. Love this guy. Big INT on the Welker hit too. Knocked some passes away early on. Gets this defense hyped.

Patrick Chung
-Shut down Jacob Tamme. Couple passes broken up. He's no pro bowler, but he's been solid this year. Much better than anyone thought he would be. Maybe his best game this year. Broncos TE's didn't do much damage today.

Jamie Collins
-Some big pressures early on, blowing up the blocking RB. Very good at timing the snap. Blitzed more today than he has in most games this season. and he delivered some HARD HITS every time a WR caught a pass short and went to the ground. Roughed up the Broncos WRs.

Rob Ninkovich
-Early INT threw Peyton off and had him sulking for the rest of the game.

Malcolm Butler
-Not a great game, but the best game of his short career. A few key passes defended against a very good WR. Great confidence building game. Got better as the game went on. Competitive and high effort.

OFFENSE

Julian Edelman
-Stepped up big time in the first half when LaFell dropped a couple passes. So reliable this week. Amazing punt return!

Rob Gronkowski
-I don't care what anyone says, TJ Ward creeping in the secondary had to be in his head at least a little bit. After a big early hit directly to Gronks knee that spun him around from TJ Ward (the goon who tore his ACL last year), he bounced back and played as if it was any regular game. Amazing catch before his TD too.

Tom Brady
-Poised, determined, and resilient. Everything that Peyton Manning isn't. Classic Brady! Made Broncos Defense look ordinary! 4 TD passes, marched down the field every time the team needed it, and constantly pulled away. Key 3rd down completions. Looked so calm against a good pass rush.

You missed the Coaching.

Game plan was good offensively

Defense was Solid before they started playing soft in the 2nd half

And most importantly, BB suggestion in the offseason to add 5 feet to the cross bars resulted in taking 3 points off the board from the broncos.

Also big game from the run defense! Very surprising. I thought they'd let the Broncos run the ball and get torched for 200 yards. They shut the run down early and never gave up ground in the run game.

BB........we were just more ready to play......and executed better

I would add these players not as stars but they deserve recognition.

- Amendola made 2 big catches to keep 2 drives alive.
- Ayers had the sack on 4th and 6.
- Kyle Arrington was all over Welker in the slot early on before Welker departed with an injury.
- Brandon Browner with a pick and his presence really impacted the game physically.
- Rob Ninkovich this guy just makes plays in big moments. A DE with a big interception in coverage against Manning is huge.

Peytons post game Conference: "BAD decision by me. Put our defense in BAD position. BAD BAD. Just BAD. Really BAD decision by me."

He gets so flustered and has no resilience. If he were a boxer, he'd be the type that could never recover when his back were against the ropes.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Gostkowski

Obviously Brady and Gronk but for me it was Hightower, Chung and special teams.

I love the way Edelman stepped up when LaFell dropped a couple. Brady lost his confidence in Lafell and went straight to Minitron, and he came through like a champion.
