Stanley Cup - Boston Bruins vs Vancouver Canucks

Excellent first period by the Bruins. They controlled the puck, created sustained pressure in the Canucks zone and weathered their attempt to play physical hockey. Luongo made some great saves otherwise the Canucks would be down 2-0.

Encouraging start to the game and pleased to keep it 0-0 at the very worst. It feels like the Canucks have thrown their best physical game at the Bruins and the Bruins managed it with ease.

First goal of the game is critical to get in Luongo's head. Rogers will be deathly quiet if the Bruins can score first.

canucks diving all over the place trying to get calls..wow

Luongo playing amazing...B's PP is god awful yet again...not feeling confident

I think thats the one that wins it...they need this game...

It's frustrating that the Canucks seem to pull goals out of their arses on home ice. Time for the Bruins to throw the kitchen sink at the Canucks now.

they are getting all the bounces and breaks and they are clutching and grabbing like crazy.

Bruins look like they are getting tired here in the 3rd. Come on boys!

I saw this one going this way..ugh i wish i was wrong

Far out the Canucks are getting a good roll of the puck tonight.

Luongo got his confidence back...we gotta win 2 in a row now.

Luongo is so good in that building..god i wish B's have home ice

Damn we can't buy a goal in that arena ... oh well

... we'll win game 6 but no cup unless we learn to score a goal in that arena.

Well that's frustrating to say the least. Another jaggy performance by the Canucks at home with 1 lucky break deciding the game for the 3rd time.

Reasonably OK with how the Bruins played today with the one criticism being they weren't as physical as they should have been.

B's win game 6..then it all comes down to finding a way to score a goal in that **** house

The same vancouver fans cryin to have them pull luongo..now praise him with everything..i never got that in sports..talk about a bunch of idiots

Luongo was the single reason the Canucks won tonight. He played an outstanding game of hockey. Some of his saves were ridiculous.

Geez I wish the Bruins could just pinch a lead and put some pressure on the Canucks there. 3 wins by 1 goal arguably of which the Bruins could have won all of them.

Argh... so close but oh so far away it feels.

This series could be over by now and the parade would be scheduled..if only they just showed up even once there...it is far away...2 games is an eternity

The Bruins just haven't been able to secure that one piece of series changing luck on the Canucks home ice. This has been a series of inches on their turf and we've come up short every time. It's encouraging to know that the Bruins have been in all 3 games with a chance to win all 3 but Jesus it's deflating.

Let's put game 6 in the bank and hope Claude can come up with a game plan that's going to win in Vancouver for 7.
