Stallworth's 3rd down reception

After watching the NFL replay last night....

Although many here would say that his long catch was the biggest play, and I think it was big. Stallworth had a 3rd and 7(ish) reception on the patriots final drive right before the 2 minute warning where he shook a tackle and dove for the 1st down.....and stayed inbounds. With no timeouts left, Stallworth ended the game.

Heads up play, a prime example of situational football.

I know the guy is expensive for next year, but he has been a GREAT addition, and I'd like to see the guy back here for next year.

Absolutely. Way to put forth that extra effort needed to put the game away. I do hope there is a way for the Pats to keep him next year.

Against R.Mathis. Saw an interview with Stallworth last night. Said he wasn't going to let him bring him down.

I just hope he accepts a hometown discount to stay with the Pats.

and the thing about both his big catches, the long one (that he tipped off his helmet!) and the first down catch, both were late in the game, when the Pats really needed them. He kept his head in the game, like he has all season.
