It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The beauty of being a good team is that they can take a player like Rattler with an eye on the future.Four or five years from now we can argue who’s the best QB of this draft. But I reckon ole Rattler will be in the mix.

Round 5, wow...Good value for NO
Milton could aim for the barn door but end up throwing it over the barn. If they convince him to play a different position, maybe. You should change the title to Joe Milton, steal of the draft
I watched some highlights and Rattler is rather impressive. He has a bit of Mahomes in him; he is good at evading the rush and throwing on the run, although he does not have elite accuracy. Some of the on-the-run throws will get him into trouble in the NFL, and he will get crushed in the NFL if he does not get down earlier in his run runs, but overall, a fine prospect.
The number 3 draft choice is expected to be elite. If Maye turns out to be a top 5 QB and Rattler ends up being a solid starter, Rattler would be the bigger 'steal', even if Maye has the better career. So you would rather have Rattler than Drake Maye?
I disagree wholeheartedly. The number 3 draft choice is expected to be elite. If Maye turns out to be a top 5 QB and Rattler ends up being a solid starter, Rattler would be the bigger 'steal', even if Maye has the better career.
Sorry, that doesn't make sense to me. The number 1 pick that flames out is a waste. A top 5 pick that turns out to be a top 5 player is what should be the expectation. If not trade down.I disagree wholeheartedly.
A top 5 QB is a steal at 1st overall. There's only 5 of 'em, and it's almost impossible to win without one.

Somehow things got mixed up between the responses. My comments were based on the title of the thread. Clearly Maye is the better QB who is positioned to become franchise QB. I agree that Rattler does not seem to be a reliable starter, so not a steal. The Patriots had to get a franchise QB to build a contending team, it looks like they have one in Maye, and Rattler isn’t ever going to be one.
