    If he wanted anything over 3 years, I would've told him to Feck Off.

    Edit: As per Rotoworld, there appears to be opt-out language after 2 and 3 years. It doesn't mention if those were player or team options, but since it also appears that his money is front-loaded, it really doesn't matter; Dumbrowski still caved.

    I dont get why people get mad when players get paid. Its not like ownership will lower prices or anything if they dont have to pay players.

    its a great deal and a much needed bat in our line up. Since there is no salary cap (just luxury), i could care less how much someone gets paid. I'm ready for some baseball
