Sometime switching between stations is funny

Sometime it is just funny to switch between 98.5 and WEEI. I only listen to Felger and Mazz occasionally during commercials on WEEI, but I had to hear their bogus spin on the transcripts with their lead. Felger and Mazz viewed the transcripts as hard proof that Belichick is behind all of this and Belichick got a free pass.

Over on WEEI, Dale and Holley are now convinced more than ever the Pats did nothing wrong and all of this is an entire set up.

Gotta love the radio stations in this town. BTW, I could only last five minutes on Felger and Mazz before I had to shut it off. The trolling is pathetic at this point. Just relaying this so others don't have to be subjected.

F&M are getting very stale in their trolling efforts. Hell it almost seemed like Felger realized this in the first segment and threw a tiny bone that he thinks the transcript was a net positive for Brady before diving in to his criticisms of TB's testimony.

But yeah I'm enjoying D&H right now. It's actual legitimate discussion of everything from the transcript, not just Brady's testimony. I wish I'd been listening to Holley a little more consistently over the past year.

Today the radio stations have generally been of the position that the transcript was good for the Brady camp. Of course the predictables (MCI and Tanguay) were calling Brady a liar. But the guests and callers basically crushed them. The WEEI mid day was pro-Brady, anti-NFL (Benz gone is nice). Bertrand saw it as a positive for Brady's camp but he was also twisting facts from the Brady testimony.

Basically, it is impossible for any "reasonable" person to think that based on Brady's testimony that Brady would authorize McNally to take air out of the balls after they are inspected which Brady's testimony proved without Belichick's approval. And Brady is just taking a blow to his legacy to protect Belichick.

Yes, the explanation is as dumb as you thought it was. Really no real explanation to what really made them change their minds (although Felger has been beating the "Belichick is behind all of this" drum for a while).

I have been saying this for a while now. Felger is falling into the same traps of Ordway. Ordway found a winning formula and eventually over relied on what worked and pumped it up on the show. Ordway was things like getting a group of opinionated people in the booth (which just turned into people shouting over each other) and having stupid troll callers call in like Dakota and have then spew stupid crap and then Ordway school them on how stupid they are.

With Felger it is the contrarian thing. He even said yesterday it is the point of the show is to go against the grain as if he admits he doesn't believe what spews, but he just takes the unpopular opinions to get people riled up.

I'm not. Last I heard Felger said it was good for the Brady camp because it was they who asked for the transcript to be unsealed. Other than that they were basically just discrediting Brady, talking conspiracies about Belichick and mentioning that they skipped the part about the science.

I can only speak for me, but if Felger was even Felger of two years ago I would be listening to him over Dale and Holley. Now I listen to Dale and Holley and occasionally tune into F&M (during commercials). And I was one of his biggest defenders when people used to trash him.

Hell, if Salk was still on WEEI's afternoon show, I would consider listening to them over F&M.

You have to ignore anything Tanguay says. Hes still burt hurt that the Pats picked Bob Socci over him to be the radio play by play guy. Not only that he also got fired from the pre and post game show.

I'm amazed at the dynamic of this story

- first you have the pats ....... and so many in media just sick of having to even talk about them.....lots of haters and lots of hate....even before deflategate
- the initial impact was massively negative......
- over time, with nothing definitive for proof, the ones who were asking questions started to wonder, while the ones who thought they had the answers all assumed guilt
- those who assumed guilt took the NFL bait line hook and sinker over and over again.
- smitten with 'deflator', 'dorito dink' and a lack of any substantial information, imaginations continued to run wild
- the wells report made alot of people go 'what? this is it?' but not the ones who 'knew they were guilty'
- over time, the 'haters' are stuck with their version because changing it now would be stupid.
- some have just gone quiet....at least with their opinions (like Volin)

we should create a 'wall of shame' for those morons who made their call before they had the facts

I thinks, and hope, it's going to hurt them in the long term. Personally, I used to listen to them until I couldn't take any more and now tune in to Dale & Holly when I'm in the car or at at the gym.
