Some OL chatter

Oh, I disagree with like 90% of his "analysis," but I still LOVE the ability to actually watch what happens at the line every play in slow motion.

Me too. If I'm watching a Pats game at home (as I've been able to do this year for all but the Jete game), I'll rewind certain plays then watch them in slow-motion just to see how the OL influenced the result of that play; so sometimes it'll take me close to 4 hours to watch a Pats game because I'm rewinding so often...

Calvin Anderson is not a swing tackle. Strictly LT. Putting him at RT playing the Fecals was fhucked.

RT is such a dumpster fire—not sure if ancient Rieff will be this year’s McDermott—that Anderson-Sow or Strange-Andrews-Onwenu-Brown may be the best option.

When - not if - Reiffer doesn't stabilize the RT position, then Bill might have no choice BUT to install Onemenu - as bad as he was last week - at RT with Sow/Mafi at RG... Bill's not moving Trent Brown from the LT spot this year so he's no longer an option.

Strange69 better start getting his **** squared-away too; otherwise the time might be approaching sooner than later when Siddy the Sow is given a shot at his old college position...

And with Reiffer now re-active, Wheatley needs to be placed on waivers and signed to the PS should he pass through the process unclaimed.
10 OLmen on the 53 are plenty.

If Sow is recovered from his concussion he might take over that right tackle spot. He’s a better athlete and stronger than Lowe.
Lowe was such a turn-style against the Cowboys it's hard to imagine a scenario where replacing him wouldn't constitute an upgrade.

However, Lowe's primary problem looks to be just that he often has no idea what's going when reading the pass rush. I'm not sure how rookie Sidy Sow fixes that...

The silver lining is Sow is the highest drafted guard ever to come out of Eastern Michigan so there's probably a reason for that even if I can't see it yet.

Lowe is simply not a very good athlete, so if he reads it late... it's already too late.

Sow is an exceptional athlete and strong as a horse, if he reads it late he likely has the athleticism to catch up to it.

They'll probably try to recoup some money from Reiff, it will be miserly and dumb but they paid him. Either way it will give more time for Sow or Wheatley to get ready... they're probably closer to ready now than even the coaches believe.

Wheatley has the physique of Adonis but the brains of Butthead. PS material. I agree with Cap’n S.

I don’t think Onwenu is moving out to RT. But we shall see.

Is Knucklehead Klemm earning his million? Still to be determined.

Yes. All true. So what?

So is the Jets Mekhi Becton. The guy Judon abused for the safety.

Sow is learning a new position at a much higher level than what he’s been used to in the MAC. I don’t think he’ll make a good starter just yet at RT.

I guess I’m hoping Riley Rieff can come in and stabilise RT a la McDermott last year.

In game five Trent Brown flashed his inconsistency, giving off vibes that he had checked out.

Onwenu has regressed mightily.

Mafi had several notable whiffs.

Andrews is the glue that holds it all together, but you can see it cracking.

What would Dante do? Other than make them play better.

besides you were completely wrong about the offense line before the season anyway, Sow is anything but strong. He struggles with power rushers

Onwenu needs to lose weight to play G, he needs to lose more to play T. Losing 15-30 lbs would help his quicks a lot.

Klemm is probably replaying Lloyd Bridges Airplane quotes in his head continuously.

He came back from his offseason ankle surgery with tremendous weight gain. Fat as butter.

Reverted to bad habits. At Michigan he gained so much he played at 370 multiple times.

That’s why he fell so far in the draft v

Clearly, he needs aggressive weight incentives in his contracts or he'll eat himself out of a career.

What was I wrong about?

With the starters in there from game three on, Mac has been sacked three times in three games against some of the toughest defensive fronts in football. Mac sucks, that has nothing to do with the offensive line.
