For the second Saturday in a row, the Pats have made addition to injury report. Reserve OT Nate Solder questionable with concussion.

This explains Vollmer playing last weekend when he was struggling.

Chung also questionable.

The New England Patriots have to decide whether to activate OL Marcus Cannon (illness) from the Non-Football Injury list or place him on Injured Reserve by Tuesday, Nov. 15. Head coach Bill Belichick indicated that he believes Cannon can play all of the positions on the offensive line.

I have to think that he will be; there is no logical reason to start the clock early (they had until Week 9 to start the clock) if you're just going to put him on IR.

I was kinda hoping he would start at RT. I think he outplayed Vollmer thus far and Vollmer still might not be 100%. Even when Vollmer is at RT, Solder is needed as a blocking TE. The fact the Pats added Ventrone today and not the other Gronk is a good sign that they think he can go.... or that Chung isn't likely to go.

I don't get the correlation to Vollmer playing last week. Solder went on the injury list today after a walkthrough... Just like Taylor did last week when his hammy stiffened up during the walkthrough. Are we doing full pads walkthroughs?? Did Solder get wacked in practice this week and suddenly realize something wasn't right???
