All week we hear doom and gloom, his knee is a concern, his back is a concern, he will be a decoy, shell of himself out there.

Then he goes out and has 85yards and 2tds.

Did belicheck screw with the media and is sitting back laughing?

Then we get the rediculous "edelman limping to the xray room!" And that turns out to be false as well

I'm sure Edleman running into his back didn't help things, but Gronk looked great enough to me.

I'm not sure.

These guys have a level of toughness that it incomprehensible to us fans. Pain tolerance, injections, pain-killers, etc. It is very possible that Gronk is dealing with some pain that you and I would find intolerable.

As it relates to he ability to play (which he was all along) there may have been a little overblowing of Gronk's maladies. Maybe BB and Stacy James decided to allow Gordie to indulge his quest to expand on the Gronk, Inc legacy....who knows.

FWIW I watched Gronk during warm ups. He did seem a little off then and again at times during the game. I do believe he is playing through something. Who knows what though.
