If they are called cheap, they will have plenty of company. Right now, the Jets are getting blasted for being cheap with Revis and Mangold, the Colts are being called cheap to Reggie Wayne and Robert Mathis, etc. There are so many big name players around the league staying away from OTAs and minicamps due to contract issues, Mankins isn't even registering on the radar. Who cares?

The Pats stepped up for Wilfork big time. They gave a good market value contract to Bodden. They will step up for Brady and probably Mankins.
