Seems to me like the media trying to twist a guy's words to make a story. They do it all the time. Gotta create some hype, right? Whatever though. The guy is a first class douchebag and not even a starter for the Steelers. Hopefully they send him packin after this season. He may not have said anything nearly as bad as that guarantee, but the fact is he shoulda kept quiet regardless. Especially considering what he said last season and how it turned out. I get he's a competitor and all but so is the team he's playing. It's most certainly going on the bulletin board one way or another.

Not exactly a secret to anyone watching football this year that the Steelers struggles are all on the offensive side of the ball. He's still a douch-bag, but he wasn't only speaking the truth in that part.

SB 43 were only going to score 17 points, and Smith is a frickin clown.. Playin HS football I always took it personal when bench warmers and scrubs had trash to talk. When I think of this fool I just remember Brady giving him the business and him backing down b/c the steelers were getting killed

I do remember that. Brady said something to the extent of "Well done is better than well said", and he's absolutely right. To the Giants' credit, they backed up their talk on the field.
